 I've never seen a deal this good offered in Mech Arena! Comes out to 375 A-Coins per US Dollar (not including the extra coins you could win from the 50 tickets). First you buy it and then you have to login each of the following 7 days to get the rewards doled out on a calendar-based schedule. Seems a bit unnecessarily convoluted to me but I got credited my first installment right after purchase. Anyway, seems like if you're going to spend real money on this game, then this is the deal to get. It's a two day offer so expires at 11pm PST on Tuesday 5/31 (or right at the end of the first tournament heat of the week). |

I jumped on it although I was tempted not too. It’s a good deal but the difficulty of red AI increased dramatically this weekend. I’m worried it’s a sign lf things to come.

I grabbed it. I log in everyday so the log in part is a no brainer. To get 4500 A-coins alone would be like $63 CAD if I just bought the 500 A-coin deals. I may not need it now, but it'll likely come in handy when new stuff start coming out. Or, I might spend it on tried and true stuff.

my advice is actually not to spend those keys right away, unless you need the resources right away. there's a new bot coming out, which means a bunch of skins will be released, wait until that comes out and then spend them

Since I spend a few bucks at first and fifteenth of month this deal is a no brainer. Much better than 1200 A coins for $10 USD. I'm thinking about a Brickhouse. Or maybe progress on maxing a bot I have.

Since I spend a few bucks at first and fifteenth of month this deal is a no brainer. Much better than 1200 A coins for $10 USD. I'm thinking about a Brickhouse. Or maybe progress on maxing a bot I have. I'll probably clone my Panther...after i gather about 40 blueprints, and level up my MR8's. |

So I'm guessing this deal was a sweetener to make up for the fact that the tournament rewards bar experiment has ended. But I remember hearing that the whole rewards experiment varied by person. Did it expire for everyone else this week or only me?
Overall given how badly I could use 4500 A-Coins right now, I'm not too miffed at the trade-off. But mainly that's because I knew this experiment always was going to end. Hopefully after they crunch the data, they decide to bring it back and make it a permanent feature of the game. The tourney grind is just too time-consuming and the rewards too skimpy for them not to throw us all a bone.

I’m thinking this deal comes on the heels of yet another significant AI buff for one reason and one reason only: to sell the resources needed to upgrade gear faster to better compete. Hammer everybody with maxed out AI opponents, then give them a deal too good to pass up to even the odds. The tournament rewards was just another unrelated beta experiment. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. |

The more generous weapon deals hover between 185-250ACs per dollar. This deal comes in at 375AC per dollar which is waaay better than anything they have offered before. Seems out-of-scale for a modest increase in AI strength. Personally I think they still haven't figured out how to monetize A-Coins while building/retaining the player base enough. A-Coins are too tied with the tournament rewards system which is too frustrating and time-consuming for most people trying out this game. They're clearly trying out different workarounds (feats, tourney bar, challenges) while trying to keep the rewards low enough to encourage real money purchases too. With the latter, the answer is pretty simple - just need to offer better deals. $5 for 500 A-Coins is a total joke... |

I never once got any tournament rewards for playing games. I heard tell about this, but just assumed that since my account was so advanced (5*+) that I didn't get any of the benefits. That's find with me (though a little annoyed) because I don't need resources as much as many. |

At that point I stop to save them for the next one. Do you think it is worth it to spend the extra keys and possibly, by chance, earn extra A-coins and probably clear out up to 3 more skins? |

WHAT DO YOU THINK?The way I play is never spend a gold key unless it is a "Loot Rush", then when I do I set a target....usually "A-coins", then I spend enough to earn my target. At that point I stop to save them for the next one. Do you think it is worth it to spend the extra keys and possibly, by chance, earn extra A-coins and probably clear out up to 3 more skins? I think it's worth spending just enough a-coins to clear that zephyr skin in the progress path. new update is gonna drop soon w/ a new bot, which means new kins. so you may want to hold onto your keys until it drops, so you can clear out the incoming rare skins right away. that way, you'll get a-coins along the loot rush progress path and not rare skins. |

It's always 2 blue skins and a purple, unless it's a new skin or event skin, like the Battle Master Panther and the mummy Cheetah from Halloween. Clear it anyway. Remember that end game resource acquisition is clearing all of the skins for that $7.50-$25 worth of coins for every 20 keys. Better rolling a 10, with whatever you roll from the actual crate taking out another skin or throwing up chump change resources. They don't add new skins often, outside of whatever gets added with new mechs. Clearing them before global release is important because of that. If they start pumping out new mechs more often, it'll be harder to clear all of the skins. Also, even getting blue skins from crate drops isn't a waste because the 2 guaranteed blue skins in the loot rush bar turn into coins while the blue skins are cleared. |

I'm having a hard time getting the keys to unlock the Panther Flame skin in the Loot Rush. I don't think I can make it without another influx of vault keys.
