So I was wandering around town today and there was a training ship docked at Meriken Park in Kobe. I like ships with sails so I took a few pics on my phone. I didn’t look too closely at the results until now...3 hours later. Whaddya think? Nice addition, really adds some life to an otherwise lifeless picture of a vessel (in which the sails are not open lol).

I'd have to find out when the ship departs to catch it with the sails unfurled. Since the sky was overcast, it was difficult to see the images clearly so I was VERY surprised to notice the pigeon.

I dig the lines in that pic... and that may not have been as stark with the sails unfurled... you don't realize what goes into a sail mast and rigging unless you see it like that. It's a complicated mechanism/system, for sure. Also, catching the blue tie-offs at that angle is interesting, too, with that perspective.
I am not a photographer... but... angles and POV are what my Ex-Wife would always say were the keys to her photography. The subject mattered, but only so far... the HOW was just as, if not more important, as the WHAT.
I dig it BC4E... thanks for sharing!

ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48 Upon further viewing, the ship looks almost skeletal. The pigeon could be the soul. If there were more color, I'm sure it would have less impact. I agree the angles are interesting, but I have to admit it wasn't as thought out as most photos I take with my DSLR. I just got lucky. B&W looks good.

When you travel between planes of existence, it's just a matter of proper camera angle.

How did you take a picture of the ghost ship? When you travel between planes of existence, it's just a matter of proper camera angle. And the proper gear, of course.
