PoopfaceFor whatever reason that compelled me, u started upgrading my blitz past 9. I haven't used this mech actively in years, but for some reason I swapped it it to replace my flamefendeer. Anyway I tagged you for this.. Ran like 9 games with 4 1.9 noris and Jesus I can't hit a thing. Everything is moving at tip speed and I've tried to get right up against a red to launch but the rockets shoot overhead. What am I doing wrong with this build? My default blitz build is 4 1.11 punishers

Noricums are lousy up close. For the most part, they're only decent if you can hit someone with splash if they're up against something tall like a large pillar or if you can get under an overpass (like on Moon map or Carrier) and get the Noricums to hit the roof above them.
For Noris, it's a bit of a delicate balance. You want to be close enough to have a minimum flight time to your target without being so close that you're a prime Scorpion target. I generally cycle through them in a sequence rather than all at once because they're literally a hit or miss proposition.
Also, Noris are best on maps where people are inclined to hide behind stuff (like Castle, Rome, and the upper deck of the Carrier map). Any mechs that do the shoot-and-hide routine are great targets for Noris. Also Behemoths, Weylands, and Raijins for the obvious reasons. They can also be decent against Arthurs and Kids when they aren't loaded with Accelerators.

Also, think about the Noricum uppercut on bi-level maps. I blew up someone on the upper deck of Carrier from in the tunnel in the skirmish a while back.

santaclaus: I love the idea of Noricums, like, from day 1. Buuuuuut they are a fun FU weapon and not for the serious-of-heart. They are worse than Hydras and Hydras are bad.
