Just a thought: I think many of us on this forum would be baseball stat junkies if we were born 100 years ago. So.... Would we still play if there was less change/news/churn/updates/nerfs/buffs in this hobby of ours? What if we got what we asked for? Only 1 new Titan per year, 2 new bots per year and 3 new weapons per year. Nerfs/buffs would happen on January and June. Actually, come to think of it, I would. Things would be predictable. But dial the above back to: 1 new Titan per year, 1 new bot per year and 3 new weapons per year. Nerfs/buffs would happen on January. Would you still play then or would you be bored? Feel free to discuss. Please keep it clean and on topic.

From now on? No... wouldn't bring me back.
But, a re-write of history where this was the case instead of the way things went from the point that Dash bots were introduced? Yes. A more predictable game allows for skill to rise to the surface once gear is acquired by ALL and the finer points of how it fits in are concrete. War Robots was so much more competitive when it was predictable.

It's gone too far imo... It would be better if remastered just reseted the game back to it's Walking War Robots roots with better graphics and updated engine... Without titans, mk2 crap, modules and drones. Pilots would be ok

I wish they'd made Remastered a separate game and kept it closer to it's roots. But, with things as it is, I would not come back any time soon. There's too many other things I don't like about the game anymore. It's become a Robot Warfare clone.

I think the biggest issue overall with their cycle is obviously the rebalancing that makes things very hard to use, combined with the release of extremely OP stuff. I sadly understand they’re reasoning, as they are forcing resource utilization. That wouldn’t be such as issue if the economy was better and if they made the OP stuff more readily available. But alas, that’s not their mo... I do know that if the game wasn’t evolving, it wouldn’t be around. They could slow down a bit I guess. But on the same token, if players took a step back they’d see this process is also making things that were seen as obsolete relevant again
Now, when’s that sonic nerf coming...

I would definitely stick around.
I remember installing the game really a looong time ago. What drove me away was - never having any silver to level up robots. This is something that seems to have improved.
Perhaps I'm imagining it, but the result table after match showed me how much silver I've won and how much I had to use to "repair" my robots. Somehow it was always like 90% of what I won in the match. The higher level equipment I had, the more it cost to "repair" the gear.
Don't know how long ago it was, but fujin was a new thing at the time. Workshop worked differently too - you "researched" currency coins and then you could buy whatever you wanted.

Same as others - rewind a few years then freeze development and I’d still play. There is an argument that so much complexity has already been added that if the game went direct to maintenance-only it could continue evolving on its own. No new gear means resources add up allowing more players to try new combinations. But no profit in that, only server costs.

They could’ve done so much if they weren’t blinded by greed. Meanwhile F2P friendly Fortnite is laughing their way to the bank

Are you trying to put the Gulag out of business???
But, yes....I would play, if the devs kept the game available.......

I didn't like pilots or modules but I adapted. I almost (almost!) liked Titans.
My first sign of discontent was when they first nerfed shotguns and I couldn't run my big jumping spider. I loved that robot but I adjusted.
When drones and chips came out I tried but after about a month I gave up. I still have no idea how they work.
The game is currently overly complicated and the whole cycle of OP gear being released and then quickly nerfed makes my head hurt.
I wish they could return to a simpler era of the game but Pix makes it's money like this so we're stuck with it.

Of course I'd play. The reason I liked this game from the start wasn't because of gimmicks or death buttons or magicks. It was because it gave me a virtual environment to pilot big robots around and shoot at others. I started right around when the Pantheon hit, I think...when Dreadnought was covered in snow for winter. And despite everything that's changed from then to now, my core enjoyment is still because I can pilot big robots around and shoot at others. There are just more elements of complexity to it, for better or worse.

What Ollie says would be ideal for me. But I can see how others would not be in line for that. Would give me a chance to upgrade things. Although, for the most part I have been running mostly the same bots for years now. It has just taken that long to upgrade them. And I pay a little bit too. And play a decent amount. Takes waaay too long in this game to max things. I want to try every setup. Without being at a severe disadvantage. Finally getting the FUn hangar to good enough levels to compete. 1.9 robots. And that or higher weapons. Even the main hangar is no where near maxed. But it has many premium goodies.
Doesn’t matter. I would still play. Either way. Still having fun.

I've been playing 6 Pack since Nov 2017 and it is absolutely the best form of War Robots there is.
The meta has NEVER settled into just one thing, it is always evolving based on what people are deploying.
In 3.5 years, 6P has added 1 new bot (Bolt) and 1 new weapon (Gust).
I play 6 Pack twice a week averaging 9-16 matches a night. I play the MM maybe once or twice a day on average.
So that's on average 26 to 11 in 6 Packs favor.
So, yeah, there's your answer.

Yes. Yes I would keep playing, simply because there is nothing else that is fun except perhaps CODM and also Iv'e spent a lot of time on this game and don't want to waste them.

I don’t know. I had so many other issues with this mess besides the constant flood of new money-grabbing crap. I may have played it a little longer, but I think I’d eventually have gotten fed up with everything else.
