The franchise really went downhill after this movie. That last installment was just horrible. From the discombobulated plot to the gratuitous shower scene, Aliens Convenant was just a complete mess.
But.
Aliens. Amazing cast, great acting and directing. Solid storyline. Epic final showdown. I can't think of anything bad. Gotta watch the director's cut though. That whole bit with the automated guns near the end made clear one of the nagging question I had when I watched the movie the first time: what happened to all the aliens? Answer, many of them died from the automated guns.

I still watch Aliens at least once a year either through running into to it on TV or watching my own copy. It's probably one of themost rewatch-able flicks of all time. Many would disagree but I put it above the original Alien. Not by much tho. Although Covenant, and Prometheus if it counts, were masterpieces compared to Alien: Resurrection.  |

Another movie I predict that I'll never get bored of is the first Guardians of the Galaxy... So much entertainment in one movie. "He says he's an A-hole, but not 100% a [Richard]."

I still watch Aliens at least once a year either through running into to it on TV or watching my own copy. It's probably one of themost rewatch-able flicks of all time. Many would disagree but I put it above the original Alien. Not by much tho. Although Covenant, and Prometheus if it counts, were masterpieces compared to Alien: Resurrection. Agreed again. Alien 3 was actually not bad and went back to the first movie roots. I'm still mad that they killed Newt and Hicks though. I love Michael Bein and think he's an underrated actor. As for Newt, heck, they didn't have to kill her character. She could have had a malfunctioning stasis pod and grew to an adult and they could have gotten a different actress. Apparently the girl who played Newt in Aliens grew into a woman who had recurring nightmares about the movie. |

I played an AvP video game maybe 12 years ago on my old PC. You could play as the alien, predator, or space marine in there. The aliens and space marine each were a blast. I have to say that playing as a solo space marine going in dark levels with the lights off in my game room and only the sound of my motion tracker making that iconic beeping sound as it was picking up a grown xenomorph or a facehugger was enough to make you freak out.

Bit of a side note...Disney Plus just added Stars to their service, so I'm not stuck with all kiddy stuff anymore! Aliens is on it, so I can't wait to rewatch!
