Is the "assist" award time limit dependent? Wondering because I've hit targets that get destroyed a few seconds later, but I didn't get credit for the help.
I have noticed I get more assists when I use my stasis beam. Seems as long as the bot is under stasis, I get the assist if a friendly takes them out.

Try adding the thermal lance with the sb, that thing racks em up too |

Even if you tickle him just briefly w/ a beam weapon, it'll count |

Well, when the event comes around again, I'll try slapping TL6/SB12 and see if that helps. I usually don't have a problem damaging reds. But, I either kill them, or can't nail down the timing and someone else gets the kill without me getting the Assist. They really need to take that 5s rule out.

Personal best in the "assist" category. Racked up 11 with my Guardian and SB16. Couldn't get a kill to save my neck, but I'll take it.  |
