Ok, seeing um, they seem to be Ao Jun v.2.0.......What I need to know is if there is a counter to them, or is it hide, go after them when they land? Also, is there any module yet for the reflector deal when they take off?
I do not see many yet, which is a very good thing......

There's an additional problem if you have multiple Hawks:
You wait for one to land unwisely so you can blast it but at that point his buddy takes to the air and your targeting system instantly switches over to him.
You can't shoot a Hawk when he's in his magic bubble and while you're frantically trying to switch targets the first Hawk slowly shuffles to safety.

If the beam of death is not pointed at your bot, and you can move to a spot where you have a good shot, It is not that difficult to take a Hawk out of the match. I make sure that my weapons are fully loaded. Then what I try to do is lock the bots weapons onto the Hawk and run in the direction of the Hawks landing zone. If I am fortunate enough to have a clear shot when the Hawk lands I press the fire button as soon as it does. If my bot has a purple or yellow shield it is quite helpful as because there are times when the dam things start shooting back. It gives me a little more time to unload my weapons and possibly get a kill.

Nah, hawk can bypass the resistance and the leech ability only does less damage with the modules and drones in effect. Good news is that hawk will get nerfed by 50% against normal bots... And hawk won’t have reflector on landing and flying, so AO Jun death cycle will repeat lol. Even worse is hawk landing is slow and quite squishy. I guess it gets stuck a sec or two when it lands 😅🤣 Waiting to see what they do on live server.

It really depends on the level of the Hawk(both it and it's weapons). I've had some success with my Lance. Depending on the level, my physical shield can help gain a good position when they land. But,as stated. The higher you progress the better chance of dealing with multiples.

If I've got the health and a good firing position, I'll open up on a flying Hawk, especially with my Cerb's built-in weapon where I can apply corrosion and suppression and lock-down with a good hit. I know damage comes back at me but I hate allowing someone to feel untouchable just because they've got a meta bot.

A good counter to hawk, if not the best, is Scorpion. Also like the OP said, to counter princess bots are when they are just finish the ability, where Scorpion is good at

@bananasplit : Hawks are definitely an issue for all of us. My secret counter: A taser (scrourge/spark) Phantom with suppression chips. You'd be surprised how many Hawks don't have the anti-suppression pilot. It's not all that and they can still hurt you but it's something.
Running a Scorpion is an obvious counter. Taking cover is probably the most obvious and cheapest counter.
If/when you move up to Master, you'll see more and more Hawks. And then the Hawk will get nerfed multiple times and you'll see more and more of the next thing. I have ONE Hawk and that's all I'm going to build-up.
I still love this game but I'm trying to enjoy it on my terms not the ever-changing meta's terms.
