Since my last post, where I doubted I'd get a Hawk or Scorpion, I now have a Hawk and Scorpion.
Thinking of post-nerf implications, I was thinking of using a Gauss/Volt setup on Hawk? I' thinking that I could snipe with the weapons, and defend aggressively with the ability? I also think using the Legendary Pilot Basil Lapette (could be the wrong name) for the extra damage? I'm currently using Nucleons and Quarkers on it, and although powerful, Hawk is squishy. I also think I'll be using it more as a Titan killer post-nerf.

Regarding Scorpion: Igniter/Blaze or Cryo/Rime?
Congrats on the new "toys." :-)
Hawk: I've seen a few sniper Hawks out there at a high level and they do punch hard but for now they are good on just a few limited maps like Canyon. Hawk is always squishy, ugh. For a while I was running one or even two maxed ECUs with maxed pilot skill for the ECU but it's still squishy. With Nucleons/Quarkers my damage output went way up so for now I'm sticking with that. One ECU is fairly common out there.
Scorpion: Cryo/Rime does a great job of effect accumulation. My Nightingale uses Suppressor/Freeze chips and I can get respect from a lone Arthur. The suppression lets me live to fly away and grab a red beacon. I'm nor sure how the effect accumulation is on flames but it is definitely a point to consider.

I'm going to write a new filter for the word "fluffernutter", set the output to our favorite eff-bomb and watch this forum melt down in recursive glory! Don't tempt me I'll do it!
