Alright, I'll ask: "Quiz?" Are you having a senior moment? Inquisitor I very well might be.
During college, my then-girlfriend used to frequently call me the oldest 22 yr old she'd ever met. Add that to decades of slogging through the quagmire of government inefficiencies, my current job necessitating a need to constantly combat its eager propensity to reward abysmal managerial decision-making combined with an increased workload both in volume and intensity during COVID hasn't done anything to buoy my temperament or sharpen my acuity.

That's quite a bio.

That's quite a bio. I suppose.
My current job has me in a bit of an odd position. It's somewhat like when you see those movies where some random nobody ends up being summoned to speak up on a given topic in a forum with a variety of generals and other assorted VIP types simply because of his specialized skillset. As a result, I've come to find that there is a considerable spread of civil servants who have been promoted beyond their capability, who may have been good engineers or scientists but make awful managers, who have little to no capability or willingness to make a decision based on data, who have no capacity for strategic thinking, and/or who're just plain lazy.
It's especially disheartening when you want to do what is ethical and where you have responsibility without authority but are too stubborn (or stupid) to give up.

Are you having a senior moment?  Inquisitor I very well might be.Â
This is where I make my money. When all the beuroctats are stuck in a 「special」 [insert trash beurocrat quality here] they call me, and I perform almost childlike basic functions that just floors everyone. Half are shaking nervously with absolute impotent disdain\outrage, and the other half are going "omg how did he accomplish this herculean feat that we've been trying to do all year?! " I tolerate it in government because most of them are purely in it for their own interests or imaginary power, and while I judge hard, it's nowhere near as bad as NGOs or charities, THEY ARE THE 「fluffernutter」ING WORST. All the garbage government beurocrat traits but with added MORAL SUPERIORITY. Even though almost all of them are unethical as 「fluffernutter」. But no, I'm the bad guy because I end my emails With just my last name. (I didn't add "sincerely, kind regards [because plain "regards, name" is totally office snubbing and hateful(I WISH I WAS JOKING) or crap like that. Inefficiency is exclusively a weakness trait. Even a airheaded moron can drastically outperform an intelligent wiener because they have volition. And fire in their bellies. I mean just look at me, I'm not that educated but still manage to flick executive staff in government and massive multinational corporations on the head and make fun of them openly while still getting paid BY them. Long rant over. Govt inefficiency and bad managerial decision making triggerd me hard today.

Some bureaucrat edited maybe? Dunno. If it was edited, it wasn't by me. Not it. Me neither. I might grab a quote or something but I do everything I can to not touch a person's posts.

I don't know exactly but it had something to do with the way Iowa's using brackets and parentheses. Once I removed a few it went normal. I am a lazy phoneposter.

I've noticed the forum does some weird stuff when posting on the Mobile Version of free forums. Maybe it's that.
