The angriest (some say the MEANest) of the Titans A place to share everything MINOS Tips, tricks, queries, stats, heroics, antics, etc... let em rip. No such thing as being TOO Minos!

I’ll post em as I discover em.... Down on the beach of Powerplant, I needed another few meters to lay a charge on a red up around the alley. So there I was mashing my junk up against the wall to reach him, hit my charge...and I somehow found myself UP on the platform and mauling said red. I am guessing the angle of the dangle + catching some leverage at the precise time I hit the charge had something to do with it. Haven’t repeated it yet, but I did tell Rollo Tomasi who is another angry MINOS man who assured me that he will investigate further. Obviously we can’t practice Titan moves in custom matches, so live game experimenting/spazzing out and discovering something new is the way...

On Power Plant, you can actually walk up from the A (ship) beacon to B (alley) beacon. The dirt piles up a bit on the left and right side (I had better luck on the left side) and you can shimmy your way up the to the platform. You can probably do this with other Titans as well, but I haven’t tried. Further, some obstacles have invisible “steps” like the fuel tanks, allowing you to climb them. And with a Charge you can clear small gaps. Not sure you’d want to, but just knowing you can...

Tips in order of importance
Tip 1. max it Tip 2. Deploy it when you have a friendly nodens that will take care of you and heal your wounds. Even better if there are two nodens around (we actually use this set up in squad. The minos is unstoppable and mows down everything). Tip 3. use shotguns Tip 4. max the shotguns and modules and all that stuff Tip 5. kill everything you see. it is OP. Tip 6. The other considerations are trivial :-)

Shotguns do little damage at distance. It has to be there on Red’s face to do any damage, kind of suicidal mission unless you have your team backing you with firepower and nodens. Run, kill and die 😅 on top of that, if you see a pulsar or blitz with good drones at distance, forget your Minos. Every charge will be stopped by that lockdown and you will die even before giving a shot lol

If one plays the Minos like a really big Haechi it can be wonderfully fun and effective. I have 2 Squalls and one Retaliator on mine. Seems like a good enough compromise.

I got one recently, I have one Squall (center hard point) and Retaliator's on the sides.
Also had a spare Titan Accelerator module for the Universal slot.
Starting with it, not enough Pt to really do anything yet. In my 2nd hangar.
It's a fun bot when I bring it out to play

I use the stock guns, I like starting my runs at range then closing.
I use this as soon as it charges and use it exclusively to kill weak reds, or any kind of mop up support. Nothing else. Always the weakest target first or whatever is conveniently nearby.
Worst case I rush AMD circle behind Arthur's so that they face me and expose their backs to my teammates.

Without shot guns i am not sure if they are that OP. The other thing that makes the minos very effective IMO is its speed. When a player can get to the fight really quick it is a huge advantage. Than the shotguns come into play. Arthurs and mings melt in no time. But the noodles minos partnership is the other key aspect.

I’m only a week in using Minos, so I’m still getting a handle on it. I know that the charge affects the bots that are directly in front of you within the 100m area. What about the guys off to the side that are also within the 100m area? Has anyone sent those guys flying, even just a little bit? Or is it limited to the forward movement only?
And while I’m being annoying, is it possible to send MULTIPLE bots flying into the air with one well timed charge into a convenient crowd of freshly landing reds?

The action was too crazy to stop for a screenshot, but I got my first known Double Splashdown. While pushing red spawn beacon on Carrier, i got to simultaneously launch an Ao Jun and a Hawk into the drink. Good times!

Rollo Tomasi . Noice! Im glad I found this thread 😝. I had 2 Minos moments this morning First was a charge that sent a VERY fat Fenrir sailing off the Castle bridge and into the ravine where he landed on a small ledge near the waterline where I could continue to pepper him with love before he tragicomically slipped into the drink. second was on Canyon when a nighty tried to get cute and land in back of me on that jungle gym/mesa contraption. Well he missed his landing, I side charged him, pinned him up against the mesa halfway off the ground and ruined his life 😂 Didn’t think to get the screenshot due to temporary Minos insanity occupying my mind. SO Minos

Loki in the box! I bulled him in there and sat on him for 30 seconds before I got bored and feeling guilty, let him out. Didn’t want to waste my charges on him

Thanks for keeping this thread going!
Because Minos is the worlds biggest Haechi:
--Plan your charges. Save them up for a quick double-dash to create mayhem. --Carrier: Charge to center, take beacon, charge back. This here is a beauty. Wonderful when it works while taking minimal damage. --The Minos can be annoyingly tall and so cover from the AM can be hard to get. Learn where the tall cover is.
I run 2 x Plated Armor and 2 x Antimatter. 3 x Squall. Seems to be a nice build. I wish Retaliators reloaded faster. The range would be handy.

Sticks the landing! Best Minos displacement ever? He caught me meddling in his beacon circle and charged me mid hop

Today I saw a minos. He was the only player left in the red team and he was afk. Guess what? It took us 2 mins to kill him. With all of us shooting him with our titans at once. These minos thingamajigs are like the definition of tankers for me.

If you’re a beacon hound like me, then you spend a lot of time inside the beacon circles and you should know how to work the perimeter.
Ive been practicing my “U dashes” or steering my charges to move multiple reds outside the circle. Under the right conditions it is very doable
Spread the love
