The present event requires lots of gold medals for damage. I get gold medals but no progress in the event requirements. So how much damage do I need, or is it just more damage than the rest of my team? Im stuck on the event with just 5 gold medals for damage.

I think, and don't quote me, the medals are handed out based on your performance against your own team. So, if you did the most damage, or had the most kills, you get gold medals.
One thing I just realized, is that not many people run MDs anymore. So, with my little itty bitty base MD, I was easily able to get gold medal for heals. This would make those gold medal tasks so much easier to do!
