Havent played in 6mnth+.. Completely screwed.

A: No, they removed tiers.  You are now placed in matches based on league points.  Equipment level has no role in matchmaking.

Q: Am I completely screwed?
A: Yes, but so is everyone that doesn't have a 12/12 hangar of gold heavy bots

Q: Did I waste all my gold?
A: Yes

I wonder if you might be better off starting a new account. At least that way you will be getting the gold for level advancement and can start building toward good current game hanger with possibly less pain.

You can recover but it will take time. I to had a gep hanger with weapons lvled to stay high bronze/low silver.

It will take two-three months, but if you have medium/heavies or shield bots in inventory, you can compete again.

I have been lvling up a leo, griif, carny (actually bought that since new mm) and two brits. Have then to lvl 8-9 and weapons to the same mostly. Starting to have a measure of confidence again.

The mag gep is pretty much dead. It can't survive trading fire with the heftier hangars that are normal now. In fact, full mag gep hangars were part of what pushed Pixonic to overhaul the matchmaker. The only thing resembling the old bronze tier you played in the very lowest leagues and you'll still see heavies there.

If you just came back after a long absence, you probably got sorted somewhere in Silver league. On Android, that would be like dropping you in a shark tank. Lvl 2 geps are very fragile and the lvl 6-10 weapons on your foes will pop you like a balloon unless you are great at grabbing cover.

You're going to lose a fair bit until you get down to a manageable league, probably somewhere in bronze. Toss some aphids or pinatas on a gep or two and bench the rest. Dust off your pattons, leos and griffins and give your magnums new homes. The Ag heavies and whatever wsp bots you have are your friends.

As others have mentioned, when you get to a 40-60% win rate, you'll have settled into your new league. The more you win, the more you climb in league and the tougher your toes get.

At least your Geps are low level. The Mags are still viable as noted. Get battered but get your silver. Griffin is still the solid Ag bot and getting to a 6/6 DB is obtainable in a few weeks.

Farming techniques are still in flux but you are never gonna get back to the 10Au that you had been getting with your MagGeps. You may be able to go with a beacon capping hanger to still get the 5Au bonus.

I agree. About the only thing you can do is try to salvage the situation. If you have a little gold or just happen to have a couple Orkins lying around I'd slap them and some aphids (again if you own any in the background) or Pintas on a Griffin. Throw the rest of your mags and a Thunder on a fleet of Leos or all Leos if you don't have the Orkins. Having a 5/5 DB Griffin and a few lvl 5 Leos with lvl5? Thunders and lvl7 mags isn't great but you should land on your feet and do okay after you are done free falling to where that hanger should be.

After you stabilize start working towards a hanger with a Orkin/Pinta Griffin, a mag/Taran Griffin, one of the Leo (would prefer 2 but you only have four slots). And maybe a Natasha with either Pins/noashorn or Malot/noashorn. It will not be great but will start you on track to get a hanger that is competitive in the current meta.

If you want to leave one Geapoard in as a beacon? capper in the short term go for it.

Shouldn't take too long to lvl up a Gep. I'm bouncing between high silver - low gold with an Aphid Gep at lvl 8... Not that I would use more than one though.

Team up with bigger bots. As long as you're helping kill the red they are fighting, I'm sure they won't mind the support.

Get good at using cover. No more walking up to a bot blasting away.

I don't think it's screwed. You just keep losing for a month and you'll see the better end.

Short answer - they removed the loophole you were exploiting.
Build a real hangar.
It'll get better.

I started playing 6 months ago. Game is so different today. Clubbers got their just deserts when leagues were introduced, and got wrecked by Galahads and Lancelots. I heard one Rhino took down a herd of Geppers by itself lol. I no longer hear the constant droning of pew-pew-pew on the battle field. R.I.P. 2017.

Correct - your clubbers-club hangar is outdated.
We all get wrecked now and the better we play the worse it gets; unfair matches, tankers, etc. As an example, my avg. L8 hangar goes against L9...L12 most of times and battles are seldom 6vs6.

Newsflash good sir: you see a game change that punishes most players (at least most of the ambitious/skilled ones with non maxed hangars) came in a form of a ?special?ed matchmaking system. Major reason for this atrocity to come to existence was fact, that there were times when a big population of *ekhmmm* less-than skilled guys, running the 2/7...1/12 full gep hangars kept damaging the game by exploiting newbie players in totally unfair match conditions.
Yeah, "satisfaction" of 100% win rates is no longer and option for you.

vito...I can't say I like your OP sadly. Do you really want to play War Robots again or do you just want to club defenseless players to increase your own benefit?

If you're really looking to play again I suggest two options...

#1 Follow the guidance listed above by many knowledgeable pilots as far as your current hanger options/upgrades.

#2 Start a new account and get the new player package for I believe $5.99 which will get you the Silver and Gold over 30 days to build a decent hanger and than upgrade from there.

From what I've read on the forum/experienced the old days of seal clubbing/farming have been nixed and you need to raise your game. Good luck in your endeavors!

It's difficult to feel sympathy for a self confessed Gepard Seal Clubber who used to farm lots of Au with that set up .... who now wants to know how to farm Au again because his Gepards are scrap value only
