My ID is: SBAWX9 I just reached level 30, because I play pretty frequently. Only been playing about 3 months, maybe. I have a 4 bot hanger, currently housing: Leo 6 w/ Thunder 5 and Molots 6,6,5 Leo 7 w/ Thunder 5 and Magnums 8,7,7 Griffin 8 w/ Tarans 10,8 and Magnums 8,8 Natasha 7 w/ Thunder 8,8 and Molots 8,7 Also have a few others on the side. But, what I listed are my best ones.
I alternate my Leo with Molots with my other Griffin with Molots. I'm trying to save my gold now to get the Lancelot (because that thing kills me) and my WSP to get the Rhino. I'm thinking that when I get the Rhino I'll use the Tarans and Magnums from my Griffin for it. I'm always upgrading weapons or robots, currently my Griffin to lvl 9.
I'm also trying to learn about Clans. What are the advantages of being in one? I've been on my own this whole time. Sent out a few requests, but they were denied or ignored. So, here I am.
I'm open to input.

Welcome to the forum.
Others will disagree but my personal opinion would be not to bother with the Rhino - it's a specialist bot and difficult to pilot; whatever you put on the Rhino could be better used on a Griffin. I would opt for a Carnage instead - it's versatile so you can switch things around as your style progresses; it can be used at all ranges, with good weapons which can be bought with silver, gold or wsp depending on what you have available.
The Lance is ok, but I would prioritize a 5th slot over it; if you're itching for a gold bot, maybe consider a galahad with mags and tarans.
Clans - major advantage is that you can squad together and so avoid tankers on your team. You can also coordinate which bots you take into your hangar and even assign roles - beacon capper, support, brawler etc. Basically it enhances the teamwork element of the game. Make sure you apply to a clan suited to your level though; a higher level clan is unlikely to want you and even if they did, you'll find yourself up against opponents suited to them so you'll be out gunned.

Welcome to the forums! A screen shot of you hangar with levels is appreciated and helps out a lot. Some suggestions for you: Try to level weapons first before bots. The Leo is not the best platform for Molots try punishers or piñatas. After 2.8 the piñatas will really shine. The Natasha with thunders is fine for now but will be come problematic later on, I recommend a carnage like cypho said. The carnage is faster and much more versatile. A thunder carnage can take out a lot of bots by performing a "death circle". You can look it up on you tube. I also would recommend one relatively "fast bot" as a capper. A galahad is good endgame bot for this task. It is relatively fast, it's tough and can deal decent damage. The Galahad is also the best Plasma platform out there.

Thanks guys for the input. It is very helpful and greatly appreciated. Keep it coming.
I do have a lvl 3 Galahad on standby.
As far as the terminology, I don't quite understand a bunch of it. Not quite sure what a tanker or a capper is. Like I said, I'm pretty new. And I don't know how to tell what clans would be close to my level, or even how to find them.
Again, thank you guys. P.S. I have a screenshot, but don't know how to add it.

I have a screenshot, but don't know how to add it. Tanker = a player who purposely scores little or no damage or quits matches right at the start in order to artificially lower their league score. They do this to drop leagues until they eventually find themselves against much weaker opposition, at which point they become a 'Seal Clubber' / 'Clubber', where they use their vastly superior equipment to easily win matches. Distorts matches when they tank because you are left a man down and distorts when they club because they are over powered. Not good! Capper = Beacon Capper. Beacon capping is the term used for capturing beacons. Support bots = bots using mainly mid or long range weaponry to assist those capping beacons of fighting at short range. Brawlers / Knife fighters = bots using short range weapons to fight up close and personal Clans - easiest way to find them is via the profiles of the people you fight with and against; they should be at roughly your level and you can then access the clan profile, some of which include a description what kind of players they are looking to recruit. You can also use their rank and 'Weekly Activity' score (on the profile page) to get an indication of what level they are likely to be.

The Ancile Lancelot is a prime example. - Also it can mean something derogatory as a person who artificially lowers his/her league score to gain an equipment advantage against newer players.
A Capper is a beacon capturing bot. Any bot can capture beacons but you would prefer faster bots due to beacons being spread all across the map.

Use punishers on it until you can get a taran and two magnums (although some folks are running punishers now since the recent buff to them). You can add screenshots?using the blue "Add image to post" button at the top of the reply interface. The quick reply box doesn't offer it.
