He was tanking! An average damage normally is something about half of maximum damage ? That is a good example what happens now, they play with low hangar and quit after one fight and going down. I agree the tread opener, I'm in the same league with 7/7 8/8 hangar with 4 slots. You have no idea. The number of victories and max win streak strongly indicate that he was a clubber under the old MM. You can only guess when he got that max damage result. In the clubber days under old MM scoring *well* over 1mil with 4/12 Gepards in low Silver was relatively commonplace. You could even break a mil with lvl 3 10/10/8 weaps in high Bronze. And we can be pretty sure he was a clubber. So there's a good chance his max damg was done then. His current hangar, avg stats and league placement are not unreasonable, at least on Android. On iOS I'd say he's too low. On Android he doesn't look like a tanker. On iOS he might This guy and one other from the same Clan just sat through the whole match and I'm sorry that's not acceptable. Justify it anyway you want but when you have two guys from the same clan with zero damage, zero kills and 0 beacons with those kind of stats says only one thing. Now I don't care how you want to go up and down in your ratings but if you're in a match at least get off your dead backside and fight and not sit there and screw everyone else because of the loser you have become trying to stay on top or keep your clan on the top of the Heap. Both of these guys were from Suicide Squad and they are the top rated Clan and now you know how they got there or how they managed to stay there. I may be wrong but it sure looks bad for them. What are they care they're on top who cares how they got there. |

I guess it's a strong hangar for iOS but a normal hangar for Android. He has crazy stats (probably used to be a seal clubber) but his hangar isn't OP at all.

No problem I don't take anything anybody says on here with any offense because everybody's entitled to an opinion but we can agree on one thing the suicide squids are obvious ditchers and it's not the first time I've run across them and their tactics. I find it interesting that I've only been playing this game for like 4 months and I'm already getting ulcers from the frustration of playing with people like that who obviously don't play well with others. Like everybody else I play this because I want to have some fun and I'm not afraid of a fight but when everybody's not pulling their weight it ruins it for everybody. For God's sake do some damage take some beacons at least and participate but not sit there with zeros across the board and expect people not to notice what you're doing. I think if you belong to this community and you play this game you should actually play it not wait until you can go up somebody who has a level 1 Cossack or destrier and crush them with your 12/12 robots. Where's the honor in that? |

The guy in OPs screenshot may have been tanking before (we have anonymous forum posters word on it), and he obviously has been clubbing in the old MM. But here he has clearly played fair for a while. That win percentage in Gold with that hangar, doesn't look like going up or down as a tanker, but just playing the game (and maybe having a streak of bad luck getting that "low" win percentage).
So this thread seems totally inappropriate. Is it OPs angry excuse for doing poorly in this battle or whst?

I learned now something about differences of android and IOS gameplay.
In IOS, this hangar is not gold, and when you play every game with full force,
you reach quickly diamond.

This guy is "light" tanker and is probably trying to manage league placement by staying in gold. Expert is pretty rough but at those bot levels should be diamond at least.

Folks, *please* tell us your OS when posting up an hangar's stats for comment. Typical hangars in each league are drastically different on each platform, with iOS hangars being much lower level. It's apples and oranges. The hangar in the OP was actually kind of weak but credible for an Android Gold 1 hangar. xdel , your hangar would be high Silver on Android. That's what clued me in that you were using a different scale of reference and had to be on iOS. A Diamond hangar is normally 5-slot L10+ on Android. Expert+ is mostly 12/12 territory for us and we start seeing occasional 12 gear as early as Silver. Since more people play on Android so if you just post a hangar without OS context, many readers will just look at it based on their own platform's norms. A lot of the confusion in this thread simply came from very different expectations of what is normal. iOS Gold 1 is roughly equal to high bronze on Android so yeah, you probably found a tanker I suppose although his nearly 50/50 win rate suggests he probably either underperforms or just isn't very good. He could be hearing the end of a clubbing cycle and about to tank again. Alternatively, he's just a lazy player or perhaps just a kid who lacks the strategic mindset to get further in league. |

To the guy who said something about he must be tanking because his average is only a third of his max. This isn't true. In the old MM I would throw a fit if I had a crap game and only did 400k damage. My average was 600ish and did break a million once (just a lucky game racked up a million damage and 13 kills both are still my max) now 500k is a great game and my average damage fluctuates around 325-350k. I don't tank. I don't drop games. I just got shuffled into a league with much more powerful bots when the MM changed and I am just now becoming competitive again. Indeed. A single lucky game can give you a terrific max damage score. With the matchmaking system no longer encouraging damage farming as much, players are often making strategic choices to guard beacons or recapture them instead of smashing face and pewpewing. Lots of folks have lower average damage now because winning tactics aren't necessarily the highest damage dealing tactics. |

On Android, play every game hard and you will fairly quickly get to Silver (or at least Bronze 1).  . Gold on up takes some gearing up and time. It's just a different ecosystem. The matches probably resemble each other even if the players sport different league tags. |

I'm in Diamond II on iOS with a 7/8 hanger and I see hangers like that from Gold II all the way up to Expert. It can be hard to tell since Leagues/MM give "underperforming" players a hanger advantage. Gold on Android is equal to Diamond or Expert on iOS. The level of his equipment is relatively normal for Gold on Android. Though it looks like he just bought two of those heavies. Sightings have confirmed that the guy in the original post has appeared to be a tanker in matches. But the hanger levels/leagues are different between platforms. Love necro threads. |
