Frankly, I don't understand. FBGR has already been announced to be closing down eventually, you guys should be mentally preparing to have to move. I think we have no illusions that Steam will be our eventual new home. The problem is that all our nice stuff is trapped on FBGR and we've essentially had to miss the current events and upgrade rushes completely. We don't mind making the move, but we want the hangars we've worked so hard to build to come with us. I’m not disagreeing with you at all about that point. However, I’m talking about the fact that considering it’s the ENTIRE platform that is shutting down, even if there wasn’t an alternative like Steam (thankfully there is), you would STILL be In the same position through no fault of Pix. if you want a refund in this case or compensation, shouldn’t it be directed at FB and not Pix?

In my past experience, the game company will responsible for the in-game compensation for the players, because most of the in-game contents can't be numericalized with the real-world values. Take daily-task platinum for example: Platinum itself has real-world values, however, the daily-task platinum is completely free, so how can one ask compensation for something that has zero value in the real-world? Does that means players have no right to ask for compensation if they lost in-game contents? Of course not! That is why compensation has to be provided directly by the game company instead of 3rd party like platformer, because only game company can give players something that is virtually valuable but has no real-world value.

I am 50/50 about that. Refunds even on iOS come from Apple, not Pix due to the way payments are structured.
In this case, the loss of in-game content was not due to a decision by the developer, but by the platform. As such, any refund requests or suits should be against the platform for making the decision that resulted in your losses. You CAN calculate the value of your Platinum and then use that amount to claim against the platform. It is the same way people who are injured in an accident can sue if they cannot work based on loss of income.
But as the decision that led to your loss of platinum income was made NOT by the game company but by the platform, responsibility for your losses and the compensation that should be given should come from the platform that made the decision, not the game company who had their hand's tied in this case.
I don't usually defend Pix like this as we are all aware of their flaws and failings, but in this particular case FB seems to be at fault here.

Im sure its covered in FB TOS that if FBGR is shutdown they wouldn't have to compensate users.

After I sent them several emails about all the stuff I missed out on I finally got this in return.
Once again please accept our apologies for the inconveniences caused. All Gameroom players who was online for the last 30 days before November 20th will receive the following:
- 1000 event coins; - 200 Pt; - 15 000 000 Ag; - 1000 Au; - 10 days of Premium;
In addition, all players regardless of the recent activity will receive 3 tasks: - Play 1 battle - Play 2 battles - Play 3 battles By completion of those, 1 Fenrir and 2 Cryo weapons will be credited.
Like I told them it costs them nothing and it makes for some good will.

Ya, never be too negative. I'm always happy with what was given by Piggy.
