I'm back playing after taking a long break.
I can't remember when I started but I stopped when seal clubbing was a thing. I'm at level 29 right now.
I am looking forward to collecting the newer robots and outfitting them.
I will mostly be here to ask dumb questions because it's been a few years and a lot has changed. I'm also considering starting up a stream/channel for the game but more on that as it develops.

Ask all the questions you need. I'm sure plenty of people will be happy to help you out.
I highly recommend working slowly and leveling things to lowish (no higher than 1/7 or 1/9) levels to get a sense of the gameplay in lower leagues before testing out the waters in the higher leagues. Gameplay is much more brutal with a lot more of the "god bots" prevalent there.

Been about 3 years since I played last, level 27 at the moment. Remastered version has a lot more stuff than I remember. And just curious what happened to Dreadnought map?
I'm now known as Wardruna65 in the game, my ID is TDRMUD. Cant seem to post hanger pics but my hanger now is the fuijin, fury, and scarab leach

The leach will do well. Maybe consider finding something else for the fury-a Bulwark maybe. The Fuijin will also need to be replaced. Especially when you start meeting Hawks. |

only two tips:
1)league management
if you have not already opened the 4th and 5th bot slots you may consider playing with 3 (or 4) bots for the sake of staying below expert at the time being. Expert and up are where Pix sux the fun out of game at its current ..cked-up state. Just something to consider.
2) resource management
consider focusing upgrades on a selected set of gear. a general rule of thumb, level 1.9 for the bots and level 1.10 for the weapons. I would not push the upgrades beyond 1.10 as Pix has a reputation in keeping the gear stats steady (more accurately, it is almost gauranteed each and every gear will get the nerf hammer one way or other). the cap on the bot upgrades based on the fact that speed is leveled at 9, but most of the magic bots introduced after stealth bots muscle up beyond level 1.9.

But, both Yam and Dread was shelved "waiting" to be remastered. I'll say the lack of attempts to fix problems speaks volumes of being unable to, or (more than likely) management not wanting to spend time/effort/money on. Note, they didn't mention anything about the two maps. But, was praising themselves on their new one. |

Totally different game now....you might be better off starting over at L1 than run with that old stuff at L27. Even Leech isn’t all that anymore...... Good luck! |
