dukeofadvil suggested in another thread adding something like ‘W-R’ to our MA game names to identify ourselves as fellow forumites. I’ve actually been kind of pondering the notion myself ever since I saw BAM doing it, and now that somebody else brought it up, I’m guessing we’re not the only ones entertaining the idea. Although ‘W-R’ wasn’t exactly at the top of my list ... I mean why give those thieving bastiges any more attention than I’m already giving them.  With that said, I fingered let’s get some ideas for a forumite clan name, something that has a catchy 2- or 3-character acronym to make us easily identifiable in the game and our friends lists, and of course a name we can utilize if/when the devs add clans to the game for real. The cornier the pun, the better. Me, I’m terrible at these kinds of things (to wit, the unparalleled originality of ‘IH8Pixonic’), which is why I’m opening it up to the more creative of our rebellious MA playing members. Now there’s an idea for somebody to play with right there - something including ‘Rebels’. Or not. MR - Mech Rebels? Eh... Let’s hear some of your more colorful creations!

This is going to be something of a challenge given the lengyh of my ign/forum name, reconnecting. Hmmm. IM as in IM#reconnecting (I Am). Forum user F.U.? FM forum member. SK for Stan's Killers. Hmmm I will think on this.

Once we get several, I suggest we do a poll and see which one we all like. WRF - War Robots Forum RED - In honour of Redfiend who gave us so much info. Also stands for Retired (from War Robots) Extremely Dangerous (in MA) FPix - Doesn't need explaining eh? |

WV or WRV as War robots veteran, probably could mess with that but it would be simple and effective

I think clans are coming so may be worth a wait for the next update to see if it drops.
If not personally knowing that we all came from War Robots is true, but they can go pound sand and I have no desire to give them any free marketing for their train wreck of a product. I'd rather be like CF-Crux and we can be Cupcake Fighters than WRF or anything Pix related.

I did try to modify my name to include WRF, and it barely fits...It'll likely mean I'll have to modify my actual handle and in some way shorten it. Not sure I really want to do that, especially since you only get one free rename and after that it costs A-coins.

The Friend feature has already let me play more squads than the Clan feature in War Robots ever has. you can form squads w/ ppl in your clan w/o needing to have them as frds in game, so you can use the frd list for ppl not in your clan |
