Wouldn't it be fun if each of your hangars had a rating. That way when running a fun hangar like Poopface we would maintain a different status. When serious, I run hangar # 1 and when goofing around/testing I could run hangar #2 and not be penalized for it.

Would be nice. That's how things used to be back in the day when hanger power was how the MM operated. You could change things up on the fly and completely change your league.

That would make waaay too much sense. Not only running my fun hangar hurts me (no biggie), but it hurts my clan too. Feel like I am letting them down. But I agree with you. Would be nice.

Maybe it could be a separate game mode with hangar based MM. A bit like whatever the mode is where you get random hangar of the same bots as all other players.
That way it might(?) be easier to implement than running two MM systems in the same game modes.

Yeah ... I'm not really sure how to test different bots and NOT be accused of tanking.
I wish they had a test battlefield that I could go to with a lvl 1 bot only face other lvl 1 bots (with lvl 1 weapons). So I could actually test drive a bot to see if i like it.
As is, if I get one, I'm afraid to upgrade it and waste my time that could be better spent elsewhere.

Also best to not give a 「fluffernutter」 about what others think about you playing the bots you want to. Pix giveth me playeth. Maybe if you're clanning is a different story but, solo is solo and it is what it is and if they don't like it then they can go and clan.

Only problem is, there really isn’t a way to ‘test drive’ a low-level bot among other low-level bots, especially if you’ve been running with level 8-10 gear for any length of time. But surely don’t give two craps about what anybody thinks of the bots you decide to play.

You can make a lot of stuff and it’s all lvl 8 (I’m pretty sure).

The rating per hanger would get messed up (abused) if you had more than one hanger. Or you would get ranked on your highest hanger which would screw your lower FU hanger.

As is, if I get one, I'm afraid to upgrade it and waste my time that could be better spent elsewhere. This is one of my main uses of extra hangers. The long version is from a Champions League perspective, the short answer should apply to any league. Short answer: Set up your main hanger with your primary choices and a second hanger with a 2 or 3 of your strongest âsecond stringâ bots to support couple of test slots. Take the test bots/weapons to maybe a few levels below your main equipment (e.g. if your main hanger is mostly level 9, get test gear up to at least 6). If itâs weak, donât run your test hanger too many times in a row. AVOID looking like a tanker. Hereâs the tl/dr version: Hanger 1 - Main hanger, my go to for squadding and securing top 3 spot most mid-Champions League battles win or lose. This hanger has my main Titan and the bulk of my premium modules. Also, drone builds are optimized to match w each bot in the same slot. Hanger 2 - Long range hanger with test bots. I have a couple of older but still strong Anchor bots and a few level 9-ish to test out. Iâm currently testing Wasps (3x 1.9 on a 1.9 Ivory Rava) and Pulsars (3x 1.6-7, also on 1.9 Rava). I tried a Scorpion for a while, but didnât really take to it. Hanger 3 - Same, but for short maps Hanger 4 - Incubation, future projects Also, hangers 2 & 3 include some fun bots that just donât make it in mid- to high-Champions League, so I consider them my âFunâ hangers. Play whatever the 「fluffernutter」 I want and donât sweat the end of battle placement. Sometimes I score 10 gold w em, sometimes Iâm dead last. For my level of play, level 9 equipment isnât a prohibitive investment and lets me try different stuff before making the HUGE investment of taking it further. Through this process, I identified Viper Falcon as an all-in commitment and fully maxed it over the course of a couple months. Before I tested it, I wasnât even considering it. But the Avenger nerf was approaching and I wanted a replacement.

Yeah, you gotta invest at least a little bit to test new stuff.
