Is anyone else's game look like a PS1 game?
I swear, any enemy in the distance looks like a bundle of pixels, I can't tell if that thing in the distance is a Blitz or a Leech. I thought I was in the clear when the game booted no problem but getting in-game... To me it just feels like everything is noticeably more jagged.
A few thing's I've noticed:
Raven now has tail feathers that open when in mid-air.
Some bots have issues walking down inclines.
Healers no longer have a healing radius unless actively healing.
Most bots now feature a jiggling torso.
Some bots walk weird.
Schutze now has flappy knee guards for some reason.
They seem to have cancelled Natacha's remodel. Vityaz, Stalker, Griffin, and Patton got theirs.
Some weapons have additional animations or particle effects.
Drones are still unsellable.
Raw gameplay:
The loading screen looks pretty borked as well.
It may just be my device, a Samsung S7 from 2016. If that's the case that mean I'll just have to play as if I'm nearsighted until some proverbial eyeglasses come into play or i sink some money into a tablet.
Or emulate on my PC, that might be a good idea if it works.

That raw gameplay looks nearly unplayable. Im lucky to have a good enough tablet to run it well on 60fps but I tried the 30fps option out of curiosity and the game ran horribly. Maybe they havent optimised it yet, remastered is only half done...

Maybe they havent optimised it yet, remastered is only half done... They did say they were going to release it half baked and for us to have patience. But it's hard to play to near unplayable. I just prefer to camp with my Hydra Spec and spam a constant stream of missiles rather than walk anywhere in heavily stilted movements.

"Some bots walk weird."
Very strange motions indeed. Like "You okay, buddy? Can you make it to that beacon?"
"Some weapons have additional effects and animations."
Firing almost any weapon results in explosions, smoke and odd light shows. When you have a bunch of bots firing in close quarters it's a hot mess. It's hard to see what's going on now.

I know, I liked the old effects, they were simple and to the point. The new ones are just so visually noisy.

My Mender walks like he dropped a deuce in his pants. I have banished him to the hangar for now until he mends his ways.
It was good tactically to be able to see what your enemy was and weapons they were using but now I can't tell 「dookie」 from clay.

Change his diaper and get him back in action

Or emulate on my PC, that might be a good idea if it works. the resolution is down on the minimal setting. I even tried to switch to the "performance" setting but to no avail. that said, frame drops were smoothed out, and when the battle on screen is most hectic (like carrier) it holds up nicer definitely something to get used to you but not as bad as I heard

Visually much worse than before remastered: lower resolution textures, poorer shadows, everything is more pixelated, static lines keep wobbling. Frame rate maybe a bit more stable when it's not crashing.

I can kind of see if some folks feel it’s a bit difficult to get adjusted to; but much worse? That is rather hyperbolic. I’ve been playing a bunch. I think the more matches you play, the less “new” things will seem. Eventually, in a week or so, he won’t even notice that anything is changed. Remastered will feel like the new normal. enjoy War Robots my friend! - MHPhakeem

Yes. The game is MUCH MUCH worse. It's not cosmetic but rather structural. My bots are shorter and wider and stop moving altogether every 10 seconds. Sometimes they just slow down to 5 kph for no reason. The sound is cutting out constantly as well. Their is more but why waste our time. In the 5 or so years I've been playing their have always been some minor annoyances but what's going on now is entirely different.
The game is unplayable for many right now including me. This is something Pix can ill afford at the moment. The player base was already shrinking and this makes it infinitely worse.

One thing I noticed is that the movement of the legs is very slow when the bots change direction. It takes a long time for the legs to stop, rotate and then resume walking again. The Griffin has always been this way as part of balancing out the jump drive ability of a bot going way back. The way around this has been to keep the legs in walking animation as the legs are rotated to change direction and to never stop walking. This is done by rotating the movement stick in a half circle or full circle if you want to move left and then right instead of in a linear movement and to always keep moving. It is a useful skill and helps all bot. This used to be Walking War Robots 101 stuff but has been lost to time thanks to the super fast bots with fast movements that have been introduced into the game. Now that all bots suffer from this movement it is worthwhile to get back into practice with this technique.

Every bot feels like walking around in a fenrir. The lag is actually worse and the target jump is the same old story. Today I locked onto an ares, wait to attack the moment his shield drops and the second it does my target "lock" flies off to any other random player and takes 3 tries to get it back on the ares who is now safely in cover undamaged. Same old bulldookie.

Every bot feels like walking around in a fenrir. Ironically, my Fenrir seems to waddle faster now.

It's visually down relative to pre-remastered. Plus the pixellation is heavy. It's almost as if my phone was running at a lower resolution.

I concur with everything being said about remastered, it's a horror show but I do put the blue filter on seems to help.

Only way to hit them is to not target lock same 「dookie」head later had eternal purple bubble

Since the update it's gotten better a lot better.
It's playable and I can actually see what's going on.
Climbing down hills is a 「dookie」 show like an old person going down a ramp.
But I'm actually really happy with it now.
I also slowed my sensitivity down which may have helped it move smoother.

I also slowed my sensitivity down which may have helped it move smoother. same thing, had to turn the Sensitivity all the way down too otherwise using weapons with no Auto-Lock was impossible. Stability is a Little better, a little less lag which is welcomed. DOM: the lag is down and i don't die as much but i get more delayed dmg since update FFA: so far this mode i think Benefited the most as i have enjoyed nearly Lag free games. mostly due to not having 12 players with all the Magic Powers gong on. they REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need to add a 3v3 or 4v4 to quick match option for all modes(well FFA does not need this)
