Pix sprung a surprise nerfing on us again. They cant just nerf things on the fly. It is against Apples and Google's ToS and you can ask for your money back if you have bought anything in the last month or so which you have used to upgrade/purchase the items that have just been nerfed.
Ask for your money back since Pixonic's actions are morally wrong and commercially violate Apple's and Google's ToS. It is your right to do so and you are aslo in the right both commercially and morally.
Just in case you are wondering that Pixonic's agreement allows them to do such nerfings; well, dont worry about that. Your purchase contract is with Apple or Google and their ToS takes precedence over Pixsonic's. Pixonic's Tos is irrelevant in this situation.
So, Premiums, Platinum deals, gold, Ag and everything is eligible for a refund if you used them to purchase or enhance the content that was just nerfed.
When you speak to Google or Apple it is important to you stipulate that: - you bought resources or items in good faith - Pixonic nerfed the items without any prior notice in contradiction to the resellers ToS - your investment was significantly devalued by Pixonic's actions - if Apple or Google tells you not to purchase anything else or to uninstal the game than remind them that you are happy to play the game and happy to purchase items for RM but not happy when the developer violates your own terms and thereby profits from such actions and devalues your purchase. It makes no sense to provide such recommendations while they keep selling War Robots products in their stores.
The only way to stop such underhanded actions by Pixonic's is by asking for your money back.

Hmm, this sounds like a good way that I can launder my own dirty money......
1. Buy a multitude of gold packs, premium, event tokens etc. etc with gift cards 2. Demand money back when they inevitably nerf all my ill gotten gains 3. Keep ill gotten gained hangars and my dirty money 4. Profit?

Oh C’mon....don’t tell me you didn’t see this coming a mile away. Wether it came tomorrow or a month from now it makes no difference. You purchased said items knowing perfectly well what was going to happen.
This is a perfect example of why you never go all in on anything remotely considered meta in this game. My hanger escaped unscathed and I’m having a great time downing Mings left and right.

What about the noobs coming through the ranks? Is that fine? Do you or anybody have the precise knowledge when pix is gonna nerf and what they gonna nerf? Financially it didn’t effect me. I haven’t spent on the game for a v long time. But put all that aside. In this context, no one should care what Pix may or may not do. It is irrelevant. What is relevant Is that people purchase using real money under a specific real world agreement which does not condone this sort of behavior and therefore there is a reasonable expectation under contract for such things not to happen. If the contract is violated you are entitled to compensation. Period. No more no less. Your argument is like if you knowingly walk in front of a pick pocket, then he grabs your wallet and than the act being OK because you should have anticipated that he was gonna pick your pocket? That and pixonics actions are just not real world and indefensible. That’s why Apple gives the money back straight away.

Especially in the clan. Pix has pulled their act in gear some time ago but like bad kids just go back to the easy money option. Forum was awash with this stuff when Pix was using this strategy and countless people got refunds and noted it on the forum. One who comes to mind is linearblade who even dumped the conversation with Apple. edit: if you qualify just use the script above. Also worth noting I am not condoning people asking for refunds for stuff that wasn’t used in relation to the specific mater mentioned above. You are most likely to get away with it but it’s fraudulent behaviour on the customers end.

Once upon a time Dixo changed my names several times because it suddenly broke their ToS or something. The only time I went for a refund was when my account was caught up in the random bans with three days left in the operations and me being level 98. Pixo didn’t even give me the courtesy of a real conversation, only automated responses. But if we’re talking about nerfed items, you’re pretty scummy if you buy items with real money and have it refunded...while keeping the items you bought

If you're gonna get a refund and then continue spending the next week, then what's the point?

Pixo does everything they possibly can to screw over their customers, seems only fair for people to get refunds. I wont shed a single tear for them

I think that most people who've played War Robots for any amount of time knew full well going in that Pix can and will nerf things. It's a vicious cycle that they've been doing for years. I think to ask for a refund at this point is pretty pointless cause you've (generically not singling anyone out) continued to play and purchase knowing that what you buy can and will be nerfed at some point. If you're tired of the monetization strategy and tired of what has become of a once great game, then just uninstall and walk away.
I never thought I would reach the point where I would uninstall and yet I have - twice. The second time seems to be sticking because this time, I didn't do it in the heat of the moment, but rather over several weeks of declining play time. When I saw how complicated Drones were and how laggy the home screen was, and how unplayable the in game lag became for me, I casually uninstalled and haven't looked back.
I'm playing Mech Arena now, and while it does still have some P2W elements, it is far more balanced than War Robots. For that, I've "rewarded" the developer by spending more money in a shorter time span than I ever did on War Robots. But, if at some point the game starts going downhill, I have no problem walking away from it. War Robots has taught me to not get too emotionally invested in games. The money I spent is not some sort of investment. It is simply to be entertained for a while.
A game is supposed to be entertaining and the money you spend (should you choose to) should further that entertainment. It should never be regarded as an investment. And when a game stops being entertaining, then it's time to put it away and look for the next fun things.
And, just to reiterate what others have said (including the OP), buying something and then instantly getting a refund for it and keeping what you bought is considered stealing, is wrong, and posting about it will not be tolerated here.

I agree. It is the money one spends on his/her entertainment, and it is clearly not an investment. Nonetheless it is a breach of contract from Pix's end. As the OP stated in his opening sentence there will be people who are caught by surprise, Knowing that it will happen someday and it is happening the next day (or in a month) are two different thing, imho. I dont know where the line is crossed, but you all may remember about this one former member of the forum. I am not going to say who s/he was and what s/he wrote here what s/he did. That is wrong. No argument from me.
