I think retro had a talking to... his reply to your last post, Redfiend , was the most reasonable I've seen. Literally apologetic. Him and that normal user spudnick, spudshots?, or w/e his name is, that tries to tell everyone how they should feel about the game, both usually drive me nuts.
EDIT - spascrondusk is the dude I was thinking of... he reminds me of my nephew... all he knows is right, all who don't think like him are wrong. Not saying this disparagingly, but he's (my nephew, not spas) also on the spectrum, albeit, just barely. Dude may not realize how he comes across. Anyway, I digress.
EDIT 2 - (forgot to say this earlier...) Very well explained post Redfiend... I am sure you got the point across to many who couldn't understand the point that folks have been making about the AI. I made sure to 100 and Like the post.

Considering how many folks have told me they've given a what-for through the actual in-game reporting about the discord, I'm not really surprised. Kinda funny if enough people said something to get him chewed out since my last response to him was "I don't need you to tell me anything. My feedback is always from the position of making the game good enough for people to want to stick around, and my complaints are geared towards the game systems and structures that are leaning on it being a paypig ante. If it steps firmly into a hamster wheel looking to skim money out of people, instead of an enjoyable game, I'll be spending as much time crap talking this game to everyone I know that plays it, their friends, their clanmates etc as I currently do writing guides and encouraging others to play. I've been around every mech game to pop up since Pixonic turned their game into a dumpster fire, so I get around the english communities well enough 🤷🏽♂️" |

^^^ I wish I had thought of reporting the discord group through in-game reporting before I deleted my account. I’ve always disliked Discord anyway, only installed it for a War Robots clan I was in many moons ago that used it. But that twirp in the MA group was the last straw. If he did get a chewing out, it’s just a bandaid on a mortar rocket wound. That whole thing is a cesspool. Whatever ... hopefully your input seriously makes its way up to the game designers, assuming any adverse monetization strategy hasn’t already been put in motion. |

Seriously... Retro has this way of making your suggestions seem like they are not worth their time and that they are the gatekeeper of w/e the Devs receive from that channel. They can twist words that aren't even in your post and answer your post by responding to things that you didn't say, or even imply. If they really have turned over a new leaf then maybe it will be less... dramatic... now. But I guess we will see.
DISCLAIMER: I've not deleted my account or left the MA server yet... but I am such a Discord Noob that I don't really know what I am doing anyway... so checking that server is about all I do lol. I think I am a member of a few more... BoT and an old 6Pack server I recognize... but the others... not sure. I know I could learn the app and prolly find reasons to use it, but damn... RL has me by the short hairs and my free time is just not in enough abundance to bother.
Meh.

The ones who keep Mama June and the rest of that parade of human garbage running on WE and TLC and the like. These are the people who watch pro wrestling for the promos, for chrissakes. I needed something stronger than popcorn to cope with that crap; but since the doctor rather strongly frowned on what I had in mind, I opted to just permanently remove myself from their midst. I must applaud Redfiend’s patience. |

^ Applaud that one as well, Redfiend. Being UK-based, tournament ends at 7am (last orders at 06:45). That means I have to put in my effort before bed the night before and hope for the best. Often dropped rank as a result. And - the whole thing about tournament is to find the best player (skill), not the person with most time on their hands - exactly as you describe. It is what it is - and it is fun - but it could be so much better with some minor tweaks. |
