Just by watching a video, they appear to fire twice per second and it looks like 9 shots before reload. The medium version does 8300 dmg per shot at level 8. So this may be a little off but that's roughly 66k dps on a leech. Maxed ones would be crazy at close range.
Although the range is pretty bad with 200m at max distance. So I'm guessing you've got be at 50m for a them to hit at 100%. So they'll be somewhat balanced because the range is awful.
Should be interesting. And I'd be lying if I didn't say I feel like it's a cheap shot by pixonic. A few devstreams back, tofsla was saying the gameplay was overly CQC and that's why there's a push for mid to long range weapons.

What these sonic weapons are is an indirect nerf to ALL hp repair!!!
This means Nodens, Nightingale, Tyr, Mender; all pilot skills related to repair; repair unit modules; D-type drone microchips; and any possibility of being healed by others.
Equip a bunch of scorpions with these, go around and hit all the mechs on the enemy team, and nobody will be able to repair their own or others hp

I hate being cynical but Pixo will certainly release an “ear plug” or “hearing aide” module that protects you from sonic damage. Probably pricey as usual but 1/2 price to players over 65!

Well, they're here. I just got 3 bots (all 2.12) killed by three shots from a maxed Ravana running Last Stand with maxed Havocs. I finally killed him with my Hawk. F me!

My quick death came with my first sightings of Sonic Shells, simply wonderful little bots...... Now I wait for Pix the give us the anti-Sonic module, Sound of Silence.....only 60PC to activate, plus the appropriate corn chips to go with.......  |

About Ravana, I don’t think that the bot is OP. It is those three havocs together doing the trick. Once Demeter arrives most of the Ravana users will switch over to them since they can transport to any ally near the red and thrash them with a shield and healing 😨.

They simply have a mechanic that I've never managed to figure out how to effectively counter with the mechs and guns I use. Honestly, when I see them I go the other direction if I can. If I can't, I pull an 80's victim treatment and spit in their face as I'm about to die.
