Thanks to johnny2cool for playing Wyrmtongue about Scorpions in the marketplace I had this series a few minutes ago.   The series of kills included a Seraph as it landed, too! |

Started rebuilding this as a Seraph killer for long range maps. Spent the entire match in it on Castle with 4 of 5 kills coming via Gauss.
In the interests of making it an offensive powerhouse, I think the next skill I'll get may be Thrill Seeker.

So, this was only really notable for the silver payout. I've never had one this large. Full disclosure: I have a Resource Booster and Premium running right now so that explains a whole lot. Castle map.
As soon as I saw the image above I thought, "Holy crap. What did I do?"
It was a great payout, but it wasn't my highest score, highest damage, over 10 kills, over 10 bacon, or any trick shots. I killed a number with my Blitz and a number with my Scorpion. I guess the most notable thing was charged E beacon and took it, charged and took D beacon, attacked and killed a few people (2 Titans, I think?), and took E beacon again.
In my post-match review, there were only 1 Masters player on Red. The rest were Experts.

My Incinerator Erebus has been getting leveled up a bit. Combined with the Daredevil and Explosives Expert pilot skills, kills are coming as long as I don't get matched up vs too much MK3 meta stuff.

So, I finished building a Behemoth this afternoon. I leveled it up a little bit, threw on some under-leveled Prismas (highest is 1/7) I’d been working on, and put it on two maps. Springfield was no good due to all the Spear-laden Khepris zooming about. Castle, on the other hand, was fun. I nearly took two guys out, but finally.....  Bonus kills w/ the re-gunned Luchador!   |

I'll plagiarize myself from the single-bot thread. Posting here because the Behemoth is an under-leveled mech. Not too shabby considering the mech is only 2-3 days old.

I had a match this morning where I stayed in my new Behemoth on Valley the entire match. Not a fantastically spectacular match, but I still got a handful of kills.

I had an entire match on Canyon map in my Lance this morning.   Big thanks to the Mender that functioned as my backpack for much of the map. It helped me get to 15 stacks of defense thanks to my Armadillo drone. 225 def on the Lance!   3.3M from a single Lance! |

Had this fun kill yesterday on the Castle map.
A Khepri went toe to toe with me and made the mistake of trying to get past me on the bridge while I was using my Luchador.
In case you were unaware, a Luchador has more pushing power than a Khepri.
Sucks that it was classified as "destroyed" rather than me getting credit for the humiliation kill. Oh well.

I’ll open myself up to some flames, but hear me out. This entire match on Factory was in the Zenit Erebus. Dubious distinction, I know. The result was never in doubt, though. Had things gotten sour, I would have swapped mechs.  However, this is somewhat notable due to the paltry state of the gear and pilot skills.   It’ll never be a world beater, but getting 700k and a kill with NO useful pilot skills and sub-MK2 guns sets a bit of a benchmark. I think 1.5M and 2 kills is quite possible, particularly on maps where people like their stationary LR stuff. Honorable mention: It’s quite enjoyable to bend the Blackout to hit somebody hiding behind a pillar then drop in some artillery when they can’t get away. Oh, and I wish I had the Jad Parkes pilot, instead. While the +damage is nice, with the interminably long Zenit reload getting the Blackout damage would have been beneficial. |

So, I think I may have learned a new party trick. Likely not news to anyone else, but it brought me considerable mirth.
I had a Scorpion teleport in and attack a blue a moment ago. He got his shots in and blues (including me) started shooting him. Thankfully, I was in my Typhon.
One Blackout shot later and that poor dumb 「illegitimate child」 couldn’t port back to his starting spot! 🤩
I didn’t get the kill, but I’ll proudly wear that “assist” badge with honor.

Okay, now this is getting fun. Four kills in the same match and one was a Repulse kill!
The nice thing is that there's room for improvement.
Other than obvious upgrades of existing skills, I also need to evaluate Defence Expert (+defense while ability is active), Ferocious Guardian (+damage while ability is active), Engine Expert (+movement while ability is active), Road Hog, and Guidance Operator. I'm also inclined to trade in Quartermaster which was a random roll from a while ago.

It's definitely feast or famine, but there is enjoyment in the Shocktrain Leech. 1-2 punch Titan Slayers back to back. I don't remember the first, but the second had been an Aether.  |

First two matches are in the books with the improved Zenit Eerebus and Shocktrain Leech. I'll break up the posts due to images. Match 1
Good kill. I think this was a Siren/Harpy. Locked down w/ ability on landing then lit them up. Got annihilated by a Scorpion promptly afterward.
What you don't see from the pictures is the absolutely huge chunks of health this thing is taking out of mechs. There have been a number of times already I've hit people and ALMOST finished them off. Going to swap out Guidance Operator for Ferocious Guardian skill just to get that extra bit of damage. I'd start using Death Mark, too, but I want to have some amount of health regeneration besides just the Repair Amp.
Decent output from just those two mechs in a short battle.

Match 2
I had a hard time getting kills w/ the Erebus due to all the building clutter.
You can't really tell, but this was the Leech in its limited time on the field.
Also notable is that I had a Blue (I think #2) shoot at me multiple times while I was in the Erebus. Whether it was because he thought I was kill stealing (if so, it was unintentional) or because I was using Zenits, I don't know. Sorry, but was testing out the new stuff.

How dumb do you have to feel after getting killed by an Erebus DOT?
It was about this point that I realized I needed to dump the Erebus and start getting some bacon for Blue.

Keeping this for posterity. Rome. Started off w/ the Mender which got some bacon, got a kill, and did some damage. I fired up the Loki and promptly got this awesome kill followed by more bacon. More running around annoying people ensued. Then I brought in the Nodens. Healed a lot of people, kept Titans upright, and killed a few folks. The final score crushed my prior high by close to 1M. Surely my max damage had to have gone up, right? Nope. Still sitting at 5.14M.  |
