I just bought the Ares and I got a 24h upgrade deal for: 60 blueprints and 80k credits for 10.99 CAD.
Is this worth it? Rare blueprints are pretty hard to come by.

I think I jumped on this offer way back (‘way back’ being about a month ago). I can’t remember what I had for breakfast today, so you can hopefully understand my lack of clarity here. Of course it depends on if you’re enjoying the game enough to support it by dropping that much $$$ in one shot, but it definitely gives the Ares a bot of a jump start.

If you're in no rush to get Ares to the next rank, and if most of your other stuff isn't rank 3 yet, you shouldn't be, then get the weekly deals instead. For the $10 and tax you're getting a lot more blueprints, 50k credits off the bat, and 1000 coins that can get you another 100k credits to boost up everything else in your hangar. |

I have right now: 3.3 KS w/ 3.4 JR6, 3.3 Panther w/ 2.6 LA8, 3.1 Jugg w/ 2.6 Plasma 6, Ares 3.1 w/ 2.6 RPG6. Sounds like I should spend on the $5 deal instead? |

also, is LA8 worth upgrading past rank 2? RedfiendI know you didn't ask me, but I would say yes. Mine are rank 4.2. When I upgrade panther to rank 4, I'll look at getting la10, and leveling that up. I have a ton of bps for it, just haven't acquired it, yet. They are deadly weapons. It takes time to get used to them, but they are worth it. At distance, I can usually take out a jug, with shields, in one magazine. |

The 10 cost version isn't great because you only get 1 until LA10 is rank 6, and it's only useable on Rank 4 heavy bots or Rank 5 medium bots. Definitely keep the 8 cost version leveled when possible, eventually it gets paired with Railgun on 24 energy bots. |

Thanks for the feedback. I was going back and forth on this. I agree with Redfiend on this. I bought the LA10 way back and regretted it. I still do cause I'm not using it on anything. Same here. Sometimes I'll pair the LA10 with TL6, but I soon revert back to LA8s. |

hicycles... one more voice on this... I've ran the LA10 + LA8 Panther build a few times... and I have to say that I prefer 2 LA8s on a Paragon, personally. Sure it dies quickly if you get caught slippin', but it is fast and can get to different angles in seconds with the ability. That, and I don't mind being shot out of my LA bot after a couple of kills with it... it's not the most fun build. Panther allows for a long time of protected shooting so I tended to spend too much time in it when running that build.
