Can anyone give me any insights how the bot and weapon upgrades work in MA.
Specifically, I know that the energy limit affects what lvl weapons can be placed on certain bots but I’ve noticed MD which has an energy limit of 6 With two jav 4s which would be 8.
Does the energy limit on a bots chassis go up as you upgrade the bot?

Weapons also have special features that increase with each rank up. You can click on the stars in the item information to see how much an item upgrades with each rank increase. |

Also careful what bots and weapons categories you unlock, because it will become part of your daily tasks. So if it looks like something you will not use, i recommend holding off. and dont unlock shotguns if you havent already! |

Thank you! That’s really helpful. I feel I’ve been wasting a lot of resources experimenting and trying new builds. It can’t hurt to experiment. Hell, I highly recommend it. Gear that looks weak on paper may actually turn out to be effective for you. You don’t have to upgrade everything to the gills to use it and figure out if you like it or not. Early upgrades are cheap enough that you’re not really wasting much. It’s when you need to plow a-coins into rank-ups that you really need to be selective about what you take to the next level. |

I’m taking a handful of bots and weapons to 3.7. The process is helping me figure out what fits what in various situations. I’m just gonna take my time learning strengths and weaknesses.

This is what my current plans are and why I am holding off getting the Stasis Beam 12 weapon since it starts Rank 4. |
