Howdy MA players
This is a preemptive strike as I haven't seen anyone doing this, but the moderators have decided to prohibit posting of referral links on the forums. As I've said, no one has done this, but it's almost inevitable that it will happen as this sub-forum grows. The primary reason is that we would like to keep the forum as a place where people can come to share information, ask questions, join in discussions and find friends online to play with. Posting these referral links could make it start to feel like a classifieds page or a billboard.
This is in line with the CoC rule that prohibits "sales of any digital content," though I will admit that it isn't exactly the same. Since this is unique to MA, amending the CoC to include this at this time seems a bit premature since the site is still dedicated to War Robots, but it will still be enforced and any links will be removed. There are plenty of opportunities on FB and Discord to share these links, so this isn't preventing people from using the feature by any means.
