I've been slugging it out in silver 3 for the longest time and I finally got up to Silver 2 and of course they sent me packing back to Silver 3. I'm running an 8/8 hanger across the board and I keep messing with what bots to use and swapping the weapons around I finally clawed my way out of that grinder that I know is silver 3 back to Silver 2 again this morning, so now the question is how long will I stay there. I have to admit for all of the complaining and not seeing alot of tanking the last 10 or 15 matches everybody's been in the game and fighting. A lot of really close games and that's when it's fun. I don't mind losing per se I just don't like losing when everybody's not in it to win it. Considering the problems with the game I absolutely love it.

I just cleared into Silver I, I started the season in Silver III. I was pretty sure I was going to fail the challenge, however, because of qualifying matches that looked like this

I have stagnated since hitting silver 3. My league score has bounced around like a friggin yoyo due to the imbalance in the mm system. My game play has become so stressful of late that basically I have called it quits. I thought this was such a great game in the beginning but now I have really soured on it. I don't consider myself a game god, and don't mind losing so much as how I lose matches. The designer's should try and determine what equipment levels would be expected to be found in a given bracket then set that threshold. This would conceivably deter tanking as any attempt to bring equipment levels that are higher than the current bracket threshold would push those players into a more proper bracket of league play for that match.

I'm stuck between Silver III and Silver II. I cannot even get to 1400 league points... so getting to 1500 seems impossible... because of my main goal is to capture as many beacons as possible every battle. I know in order to get points, I need to do as much damage as possible, but I am not that type of player. I really don't care about my ranking, in general, I'm just tired of seeing that popup telling me I'm back in Silver II.
Tomorrow will be the 21st day I've been playing War Robots. Where should I be right now... still in Silver or in Gold?

I didn't know what I was doing my 1st 21 days. I finally started looking for resources about a month and half playing. Utilizing the forum should help align your priorities but somethings do just take time! 1) Gauge your performance by those around you! After the battle review what are others have in hangar. - what level are there bots/weps etc.... - what bots and weapons are they running 2) What level are you compared to the others you battle with. There were no set tiers when I started. General guidelines of bot/wep levels. Do you have variety in your hangar to change things up? It has taken me longer to move up because I have leveled additional bots and weapons along the way! Running only one set of bots / weapons will become tedious, boring, them frustrating - not much fun in my opinion. I am currently in Expert III and I look for players I can tag along with if I recognize to see if I can get any tips etc.... *The best advice I can give you is: ' Do something different to Expect something different.' If you dont like the result - change something up! The worst is to keep trying the same thing over & over and just expect it be better the next time! Hope that helps!

Nothing in my hangar/inventory is above level 6, and I'm usually playing with/against players with bots and weapons above level 6 (mainly level 7-9 bots and weapons, but I've also seen level 10s)... but I somehow still outperform at least half of those players with higher-level hangars. My hangar lacks variety. I don't use medium bots, and I only use the Stalker for beacon tasks. I am currently just focused on weapon upgrades until I can buy Carnage.

Well, I win some and I lose some. I get thrashed within an inch of my life and then I thrash back. Slowly but surely I am upgrading my pea shooters. I seem to have made some progress but nothing to write home to mum about.

In kind of a weird spot right now. I got promoted to Gold III from Silver I earlier this week, but slid back down to the latter after only two days.
Trying to be more of a team player now though. I think it's making a difference.

When you said that you dont run any mediums?? Is everything else besides the stalker a heavy?? I run 2 Splash (Orkans - Griffins), 2 plasma (Galahad & Lancelot) & a Trident (Carnage or Fury). I try to stay balanced with weapons 2 reasons: 1) Effective on all maps! Fury is hindered on short maps but... 2) I like playing all maps more!! I used to dredd playing SF and Yama, now being able to play those maps better, the overall fun factor is improved. At L6 bots I had L7 weapons. I started getting heavy bots. MM was totally different, but some heavys start at L6. Silver Ag bots that are viable in higher tiers 1st is Griffin & 2nd is Leo. I run against the same & higher hanger as well. I play aggressive, and that is something I continually struggle with. Watching more and picking your spots to battle is necessary when playing against higher leveled hangars. Also, try to pair up, so much more effective!! Hope that helps!!
