I originally thought these drones might be useful. I imagined you could have a shield drone, a firepower drone or whatever and call on them as needed.
Not only do I hate the absolutely insane complexity but I dislike that you have to choose your drone as soon as the bot drops.
I have to guess which ability I will need and now I have to have the stupid thing hanging off my side for the whole match.
The only thing I enjoy is their entertaining death animations. They twirl around when they die, especially the round ones.

A Japanese player, probably Kansai, changed his name to "I (We) don't need drones!"

Each robot has its own drone that you can basically purchase as an upgrade. It flies above and follows the bot around with one or two additional weapon slots. The cost was fairly steep as I recall, but it’s a fair cost considering the benefits you get. But again, the concept was simple — buy the drone ‘upgrade’ and outfit it with weapons that compliment what’s on your bot. This convoluted crap Pix is doing just has me talking to myself. Again. World of Warfare Robots has some cool stuff in it, but it’s matchmaker is even more obtuse than Pixonic’s, if you can believe that.
