I am currently about in the middle of M1. bots 8,9,10 weapons 8,9,10 no mk2 Blitz, persuer, spector, Ao jun, Leo, Ao Ming (30)
Sometimes I substitute a Hover or a Galahad for fun.
This borders on a rant so if it is deemed so please move.
The games have become boring because:
1. tired of getting killed by or chasing Ravanas which is a waste of time.
2. getting suppressed by Nightingales that get you killed and you can't kill them.
3. no defense from Scorpions which will soon have stealth and be worse.
4. being killed from 600m by Titans with too powerful of weapons that I can't reach.
5. getting power cells from the special delivery which I don't need (haven't won a single full item yet)
6. being dropped in matches where the first two beacons are already capped.
7 being matched against teams that are all champions
8. playing against an opponent that gets more kills by himself than our whole team.
9. playing against people with full mk2 hangers that are in expert league (matchmaking inhales)
10. Leeches that kill you because your teammates don't have the brains not to shoot.
I'm tired of being matched up against champions/whales so they will have someone to play. I'm starting my way back down to M3 where I can play a variety of fun robots and hopefully not see as many of the META bots. Let the people that have to spend a ton of money to win because they have no skill, burn each other.

After 3 months without playing I started again in July. The game is worse than ever now.
Also, I was under the impression that you had to be on a team in order to reach the Master's League, but I won so many games that they put me in the Master's League.
The Ravana is an ugly robot, the Scorpion robot is a disgrace, on and on. The game was so much better when Rhinos, Stalkers, and Griffins dominate. The special abilities are out of hand.

Yes. M3 here (and haven’t moved in about 3 weeks), bots and weapons mostly 1.8 and lower, and every day it gets harder and harder to want to open this app. It’s become far more enjoyable and gratifying smashing myself in the head with blunt objects than playing this game.
Oh, and M3 doesn’?t disappear maxed meta hangars. Just so you don’t go through all that trouble to get back down there thinking it’?s any better. It’s a total ?dookie? show.

Agree. I'm getting closer to packing it in (again) after the pilots rework.
For what it's worth, the Champions that you play against probably don't want to be fighting you either. No offence, but I certainly don't.
This is an awful, awful time of the month for the match maker. Pixonic saw fit to tank everybody down to 5000 LPs at the start of the season and it's a recipe for disaster. I'm also absolutely certain that they throw two or three Masters/borderline Champs into lots of games mid-end of the season to make them get smashed and encourage them to buy the shiny new things that just did the smashing out of frustration.
In the unlikely event that you might be tricked into doing this, don't. It won't make you feel any better. Also agree about Mings, they can eat a ?wee-wee?.

All valid points. I'm more concerned with the constant monetization scheming. I'm tired of spending and the game has grown very stale not to mention the constant lag on iOS with an XS Max phone and top-speed wifi. And I certainly don't want nor do I need "drones" to win. I don't like any of it at all.

I don't like any of it at all. Generally curious from a different perspective ... What bothers you most about the monetization scheming? And depending on how OP the drones are, you guys will have to poney up on the drones to keep up. |

I don't like any of it at all. Monetisation and match making (monetisation tool) are responsible for making the game stale imo. As pix monetises more and more the power differential between players increases. As the the power disparity grows the the gaming quality reduces. Drones will be monitised and will lead to further disparity and staleness. Then pix will release even more monitisation features. A lot of us are like frogs being cooked slowly in hot water. |

Scorpions are a mild nuisance atm. Once they start being dropped en masse, they might be a problem.

Still waiting for Advanced Phase Shart module (activates for 10 seconds, costs 500 power cells per activation, or, if you're out of power cells currently, just 1.99 on your credit card. A credit card button will be integrated into the game UI, next to the fire button):
The Advanced Phase Shart will keep you phase shifted while you are still able to fire at others, how awesome is that, as your weapons and weapon output will be phase shifted, too! It's gonna be awesome and so innovative! And it shows true player skill. It will be a beautiful Phase Shart. The best Phase shart. Ask anyone!
Also looking forward to the Drones things. Another awesome method to even spend more power cells. Pixonic is indeed the most innovative game developer company on the world. And people who're saying that War Robots in its current state is a hot mess are wrong, of course. War Robots is the best. It's better than the moon landing or the fall of the Berlin wall. Better than sliced bread.
It's a beautiful game. The best game. Ask anyone!

...totally agree on the sick and tired! Not to mention:
Getting stuck in the ground and on walls for no reason!
The fact that my bots can't walk down a ramp properly?!
The constant squeeze of the MM, either lose and come 1st-3rd or win and come 4th-6th, such an obvious pattern to prevent you from completing whatever tasks are available.
Then there's the targeting bugs, pulsars just miss most of the time and flames don't do damage.
I'll mention the lag AGAIN because it's worth mentioning AGAIN! Both on dropping 10-20 secs late into a game and then throughout shooting at stuff that isn't there anymore.
Then there's the check your internet connection when playing ads so you lose a few available spins, I have full wifi and full signal?!
I'd be embarrassed if I or any of my company's coders were this poor at coding especially in light of their revenue.
Shame really as the game has real potential!

And depending on how OP the drones are, you guys will have to poney up on the drones to keep up. Monetization is very common for mobile apps and War Robots is certainly no different. And while I fully understand this business model, every player has their limits...yes, even whales. As we sit here today in early August 2020, I'm seeing a major shift in the player-base at the top of the league that started with the platform merger. My solo games typically consist of 2-3 Champs and 2-3 Master league players, down from 4-5 Champ and 1-2 Master League players a couple of months ago. (Lately, I'm seeing more Expert League players mixed-in on both sides.) With the costly pilot system rework, Titans, modules, power cells, incoming drones, etc., the disparage in power will be at an all-time high for the game, disrupting competitive balance for many older or established players who are heavily invested. (Boo-hoo, right?) But I feel that it will be short-lived as Pixonic is very calculated. They know that once many of these high Champ players decide to leave the game due to non-competitiveness and/or unwillingness to continue spending, whales will soon become an endangered species as we're seeing today. This results in more competitive balance for the up-and-coming generation of players in lower leagues and low-Champ who tend to be more F2P, resulting in better balance over a much longer period of time. I think that from Pixonic's perspective, they probably recognize this as necessary for long-term game sustainability and general health of the game. (My opinions anyway.) I've thoroughly enjoyed this game as it's given me an escape from the real-world. While I'll continue to play, I'm no longer spending the way I once did.
