I just noticed, a game ended 10 seconds before the clock hit zero. are the server clocks and client clocks out of sync? is that why people (like me) get dropped into game so late all the time...

There’s 3 ways for a game to end: timer runs out, beacon bar hits empty, no bots on a team for 10 seconds. Are you sure neither of the other two happened?

This is a natural occurrence since we all seem to start the match at different times. In most of my games my countdown is doing "4,3,2" while Phantoms race to center.
I have had many close games where the reds were dominating but we came back to even up the beacon bar. I think "If we can just hold 'em for a few more seconds" but ... the game ends.

Blue bar was up but reds took 4 beacons and with only one blue bot left on field. 30 seconds left in game, I'm watching on edge. Blue bar is dropping fast, red bar is only few mm thick, last bot standing is surrounded and getting pummeled. 15 seconds, 14, 13, is he going to survive? Blue bar is shrinking fast, were not going to make it... 12 seconds, 11.... Victory! Blue team wins by beacon control. Yeah I was watching closely..
