Ingredients.
2 whole eggs
A bit of milk, roughly one half a seconds worth. no exact measurements here boys.
salt
pepper
Whatever toppings you like, personally I enjoy sautéed onions and mushrooms on mine.
butter
One heaped dinner spoon of garlic
Preparation
if you are going for onions and mushrooms, take one whole onion and two cans of mushrooms and place them in a large skillet with olive oil and that heaping dinner spoon of garlic you have on standby. Sauté them until the onions begin to take on a slightly brown edge.
If you are not going for onions and mushrooms skip this step and continue to the following
blace a large piece of a stick of butter in a skillet. About an eighth of the stick will do the job. Turn up the heat on your cooktop and/or burner and melt the butter down so that it covers the bottom of the pan, if the butter begins to bubble and turn a bit brown don't worry. Its fine.
Crack your two whole eggs into a coffee cup or other small bowl like object and pour the milk in, don't put too much or you'll get Quiche omlets instead. Just a dash will do it.
beat the egg and milk mixture until smooth
pour the eggs into the skillet, allow to cook until solid.
place toppings on one side of the omelet and press shut, salt and pepper to taste
now stick that dang thing on a plate and enjoy!
