If you remember, War Robots is built upon the Unity Game engine. Its my first experience of a game using this engine, and researching things a bit, there seems to be a strong rivalry between the Unreal and Unity game engines.

I think the reasons mentioned in the video are valid ones, e.g. easier development, quicker build cycles, etc. However, at least from the games I've played, Unreal rules when it comes to graphics and physics. If you've played Final Fantasy VII remake, you will see what I mean. Personally, I've never seen a Unity game that looks that good. It's a trade off though. It really depends on the type of game you're developing, the talent of your engineers, development costs, etc. Mobile games are likely to work just fine with Unity. But if you're building a game for Playstation, or similar platform, with top notch graphics, Unreal is likely the ideal choice. In a high performance game, every CPU cycle counts. When comparing C++ to C# (or any garbage collected language), there is no comparison. If all things are equal, i.e. code is written properly in each language, C++ will always win in performance.
