I pulled a Scorpion from the even chest on Day One & have been playing around with modules. For Active, I'm running Advanced Healing. Weapons are Cryos + Rime.
For Passive, I was running L5 Last Stand, L4 Heavy Armor, L1 Cloaking module. So far I'm not blown away by the Cloaking. In it's place I'll try a L3 Last Stand or L4 Armor Kit.
Just wondering what others have tried & liked.

I’m currently running Last Stand, 2 HAKs, and Phase Shift...all about durability because I do stay exposed a bit longer. I have the Legendary Pilot so haven’t equipped repair mod yet.
If you are all about pop in, unload, immediately retreat, damage enhancements may be the better route, so Last Stand, your OU, and a Thermonuclear Reactor. If you don’t have a Thermonuclear Reactor, don’t do a second Last Stand, put the Heavy Armor Kit on there

I don't have an Overdrive Unit just yet, so I'm running Last Stand and 2 x L2 Thermonukes. Aside: is OU worth the price to acquire & level up, or am I just better off upgrading current modules?

A few people I know, having won a few, are switching to OU because they give a more significant damage boost than Thermonuclear Reactor - maxed at 25%. Now imagine two or even three of those maxed on one mech. I know one guy who is using three instead of Last Stand. The downside is you have to keep your hp below a fixed threshold, but the gain is so massive that it’s well worth it. That doesn’t mean Thermonuclear Reactor is not useful, but if it was me with them only at L2, I would wait and get a few OUs. Here’s the stats and write up on wiki: warrobots.fandom.com/wiki/Overdrive_Unit?mobile-app=false

Pix has only given me parts for Scorp. Havent been blessed with OUs yet, but when I finally get on, two TNRs and a Last Stand. Thinking the skills will closely mirror my Phantom. Mine will be sniper hunter and AJs when they land. Gonna be a blast will the War Robots gods finally bless me.

The best set up is Storm Halo with three OU’s maxed. Port in, unload, port out. Use advanced repair for active module To stay in the game and max out repair pilot skills. Pure lethal. Melt a T-falcon in seconds. Point blank mk2/12 storms at a 75% increase in damage. Payload unloads and you port back to safety. Perfect assassin bot. Weaknesses are revana and leech unless you catch the leech post ability. Melts titans to, but you don’t really wanting to brawl with it. Can opt for a 50% increase instead and go with one last stand (better for BR)

I just won a scorpion and doesn’t have any experience driving it. I usually run phase shift on most of my bots but was considering death mask instead. Any thought on active module?

Won one. Started with igniters/halo, did decent damage. Switched to storms, getting better results, but I like the longer firepower of the flames.

Food for thought: use PS as the active mod. Port in, blam blam blam with the shotties, PS to wait out (most of) the red's Last Stand, blam blam kill, port out.

As Blurred Vision, I use mine for quick hit&run, and do not stay exposed unless I want to get killed deliberately (to switch to another bot). I run 1 Last Stand lvl 4 and 2 TNRs with death mark. Just max damage and retreat. If the red does not get killed immediately, too bad, still retreat. This way the scorpion can stay alive for a long time. I dont use ODU on this bot, it is so fragile, it is easy to take on too much damage and get killed instead.

Not enough people have mentioned HAKs. When I finally get m7 Stingy-Freezy bot out the door I'm going to report back with my Heavy Armor Kit exploits.

I’m thinking DM could be a very good active module. Port in -> DM -> unload -> port out. I’ve been using DM in other bots a bit recently and the damage boost is significant, although it is best when multiple blues are engaging one red. For fun wait until a friendly Arthur opens up on a red Ming and then do the port In/DM/unload/port out and watch the Ming‘s health bar evaporate faster than a 1.1 Ares.

I typically get 2 kills per match with it as my 2nd drop. I only have two L1 Nuclear Reactors equipped as I have no OU or Thermos.

Running flames/rime. Last Stand, Thermonuclear Reactor, Heavy Armor Kit with advance healing and Adrian as my pilot. There are modules for the healing, so I do not see the benefit of the other pilot. Most of my skills are towards durability and fire power which helps with hit and run and some times hit and take a beacon.

i have 1.10 orkans and a 1.9 pinata in expert 2. right now, i have a lv 6 scorpion with a lv 1 nuclear reactor. I'm using the advance healing module atm. My strategy is a hit and run one. Unload the rockets, then go back. I might linger a bit longer if I see a chance to kill the enemy, otherwise, I'm out

For fun wait until a friendly Arthur opens up on a red Ming and then do the port In/DM/unload/port out and watch the Ming‘s health bar evaporate faster than a 1.1 Ares. This is indeed what I am using. No point in having Advanced Healing really if you have the Legendary Pilot and mechanic skill. No point in PS either if you go back in hiding immediately, just maximize the burst damage, and teleport back to safety. DM means 20% extra damage for 6 seconds, and the Legendary Pilot will heal back 3*5%=15%, with a maxed Mechanic healing 0.7%/second (18 second cool down meaning 12.6% damage repair). Adrian gives 5% extra damage continuously, and the Advanced Healing will heal back 3*10% = 30% The choice is 1) max damage vs 2) improved durability If you immediately teleport back to safety after unloading your weapons ( max 4.3 seconds), the amount of damage you will take on should be minimal in most cases, and therefore the Legendary Pilot with a maxed Mechanic should heal you back sufficiently. YMMV

And if you are using cryos you have a 4-5 second window where everybody shooting at your target gets a +40% damage boost (20% from DM and 20% from cryos).I’m thinking this will really help take down tanky bots and titans.
