So I primarily play Beacon Rush.....ok I lied, I exclusively play Beacon Rush. This is a game of Time Management and Real Estate, rather than smoke'n bots. So here is my question..... What game mode should I play to earn more silver? Not sure there is a big difference in payout for both win or loss, but it would be nice to be able to upgrade my equipment without needing to wait many days to bank some Ag.

I've heard that both FFA and TDM can be a silver mine. I certainly have made more silver per game whenever I'm bored enough to play them.
Reason why not more people play those modes is because they can be incredibly slow paced and dull.

I was under the impression with the new system that there was no longer a silver benefit to playing one mode vs the next? I exclusively play BR too and stopped all other modes when this changed. Can someone confirm I am remembering this correct?

The Premium is on sale today...just in case you're interested. 45 days for $20 is not a bad deal. I used to buy this but have been passing it up lately cause I don't play enough to truly maximise it. The double upgrade times is awesome, but unless you already have a decent stockpile of silver, you will run through your silver faster than you can earn it.

I used to play FFA lots - but found myself shooting up through Expert and way past Masters without pausing (due to the number of tankers people loosing connection). So my league position far exceeded my hangar capability (and my skill level, if I'm honest). Now I play exclusively BR and love the pace and extra dimension in this mode. Did rack up a load of Ag in FFA, mind...
Edit to add - I came to my senses and stopped FFA when I spawned to face 5x AJs. Not fun in a Mender / Bully / Loki... I guess you could add Ravana in that mix as well, now.

In the days of damage based silver the obvious choice would have been TDM.

Well I just play BR when grinding Ag. Have not actually worked out the numbers but I have a sense that its better by virtue of the volume of games I get through. Games are quicker, I can usually get 4 or 5 in for a 30 minute booster. Plus enjoy the games more and can happily sit down and play BR for a hour or two without a break. I do get board playing FFA and TDM solo.

Just my observations constantly getting 1st place in FFA (without Ag booster), and looking at silver results from playing the other three modes solo and getting tops there too (no Ag booster)

With no incentives to capture beacons there is no incentive to force action.

More patience is required and with that it can become quite the game of chess towards the end. As much as I enjoy the odd game of TDM thrown into the mix if I get three in a row I'm starting to get a bit " come on not another one".

With honor based Ag pay-outs, FFA misses out on the honor awarded for healing teammates and beacon capping, but I think there is honor points given for unused fist points for respawning. As you can respawn bots multiple times that's potentially more damage based honor points as well. Not sure if this would balance out the potential loss of healing and beacon capping honor points.
With TDM, there is no beacon cap honor points available, but possibly you get additional honor based on top 3 kills that isn't given in other modes (not sure of this last one).

While I get your point, I vaguely remember some math being done ages ago that concluded that TDM was a bit more efficient in terms of AG per minute. It was certainly true in my case. But as I said, I don't really play TDM all that much since it gets boring for me quick.

Yeah, you quickly realise that TDM is more about not getting yourself killed than killing the other team. I've been in TDM games where the final score was 9 - 8 and went on for the full 10min.

Part of your Ag goes upby 50%. your Ag expenditure doubles because production speed doubles. example based on daily income/expenditure income 2M from chests 3M from playing. outgoings 4M on upgrades. 1M on workshop. going to premium. income 2M from chests 4.5M from playing outgoings 8M on upgrades 1M on workshop. net difference -2.5M edit to add: my estimation is you need to be playing for 3 or 4 hours a day at a minimum for premium to become a net Ag boost.
