How come as soon as I put my Loki in the lineup, all of a sudden everybody and their mother has f’n Quantum Radar. Every. Damn. Time.
Putting the Cossie back in, because it’s at least no less useless than the Loki is now. For the one game a day I’m playing.

I have a Rayker, and I feel it’s my job to get any Loki on the field...no need for Quantum Radar

Using Quantum Radar on a Loki is like using Shield Breaker on a Haechi. You can, but you really shouldn't.

I'd almost rather that than the SF drops where my team likes to chill back at the campfire and practice range shooting while I literally do laps around the entire map, changing every beacon at least 2x, and lose anyway since no one does anything to try to either A. keep the beacons or B. push to retake them. Sure you get HP for Beacons but it feels like such a wasted effort. At least if you die quickly you're not panting and sweating by the end of the match after running a freaking double marathon.

This might be selection bias where you only notice how much Quantum Radar is out there when you run stealth. I was gonna say selection bias my ?bum-bum?, but you might be right - Loki is the only stealth bot I run (well, I’ve got a Ao Jun too, but I keep that piece of crap on the shelf), so I’d have no reason to notice how much Quantum Radar is out there when I’m not running it.

I have one bot with Quantum Radar, and I don't hesitate to use it against Loki. That being said, almost all Loki's in my encounters outmaneuvers me by using phase shift. Freeze rockets and flamethrowers also hurt them when used in small bots, or low lying weapon slots, but again there happens phase shift.

The trick to using Loki is remembering that cover is just as important. I assume all reds have Quantum Radar and hug cover just like with any other bot. And assume they are a Blitz or Phantom until you know better.

Everyone has at least one Quantum Radar bot specifically for Loki’s and [Nightingales]. Lot of meta bots also have low weapons. And lastly, pretty much every Ao Jun has built in Quantum Radar. The Nightingale definitely took some steam out of Loki’s due to the increased presence of Quantum Radar.
Loki’s still draw attention from center beacon. Running alone they don’t seem to be as unmanageable as they once were. Where they really shine is when death squads launch entire platoons of them at the start. By the time they’ve been mopped up you’ve been three or 4 capped for an insurmountable amount of time. They are also useful at the very end when reds are mostly titan mongers.

You gotta run the Loki later in the game, preferably when all the Titans start coming out, and PS is your best friend.
