I remember different looking stats on the bottom of this page and I remember that I usually had to work through the first page on "General Discussion" in order to get though all current topics. Lately, there's a lot less action on the forum, at least it looks like that is, to me. Wondering why that is.

The activity of the forum shouldn’t be assessed by how many people appear online, but by all the recent activity. These are just taken and only of two sections of the forum:

I agree. For me, I think part of it is simply...how many time do we need to read about 「fluffernutter」ing teammates who wonât get beacons...or (Insert month) SuperChest...or OMG...the lag...the lag...the lag
Yet, when you bring up other things, the moderators hammer you because they are forbidden in the COC...not to mention the game is getting to be about as exciting as watching whales mate.
Just one fellaâs opinion...

We lost a lot of good and active folks ever since the Rules got more rigid/enforced.
I predicted this would happen lol.
I think a lot more forumities and ex-members to come back/get active if the rules get relaxed again.
Just my personal opinion.

These are just taken and only of two sections of the forum: Of course there are new postings. But it's, in my opinion, way less then a few months ago. But that's a subjective impression, of course.

Could be a mix of War Robots getting a bit stale and people that are unsure about what they're allowed to write here. Ah well, it is, what it is. Good day to y'all.

Hey I posted not too long ago. But in order to create some drama, Ao Jun requires the most skill of any bot.

Hey I posted not too long ago. But in order to create some drama, Ao Jun requires the most skill of any bot. Or we could say that Carnage and Hovers are 「really happy」. Which they are of course. I agree that the Ao Jun is high-skill and strongly needs a buff. Striders suck and are for non-skilled players, typically those "big swimming mammals in the ocean". Ohhh lastly, Ao Mings are great, esp. plasma version, and are no game changers as there are many ways to counter them.

I feel like we lost some fun people and it had a big impact. Lately it's been kind dry and all about "information." That has its place but it's the lesser draw I think. Mostly folks just liked shooting the breeze, shooting their mouths off, and making jokes/trading memes.
Also the game is much more a known quantity now and that gets a bit stale. People used to speculate a lot more on how Pixo operated, whether they'd change direction, possible new design ideas, fanfic, etc. When it was newer and more bare bones, there was a lot more room for speculation and imagination.

I came back to the forum after a break from the game, and it is absolutely quieter. I don't know whether this is a good or a bad thing TBH. It's a calmer place, which is probably good, but that means that less is going on because there is less drama. The game is more formulaic too. Titans are by far the best bots in the game and it's logically where people should spend (if they choose to at all), there is only so much you can discuss about three bots. Once you get to Champs, the load outs on the regular bots are pretty much painting by numbers too.

There's just not much to discuss. We can whinge about this or that bot or lag or the lateness of the new updates, but really a lot of it has been said. I ignore a lot of the threads that seem to repeat the same opinions as the last. And yeah, we lost some of the humor with some of the more colorful characters who have deleted their profiles or have been deleted, but otherwise the forum is chugging along as usual.

I am here but mostly observing. Unsubbed from the War Robots reddit. Have not played a single game since weeks. I am not sure wether it was because I had a lot of work lately or because I just don't want to continue. Even when I had time I prioritized playing other games or watched YouTube. I always had War Robots in the back of my mind, and I always though about: "I want to upgrade this, produce that", but I just could not make myself sit down and play to get the silver. Even just thinking about that I have to play makes me feel bad. I'd reather play against bots/AI. I am just done with having to play against Titans every single game, and since I hate pretty much everything that they did since and including the economy changes in 2018, I think this was the final straw. I am not referring to robots, I don't have a huge problem with any of the robots. Sure, some of them are better than others in the same price bucket, but you can kill them with timing and skillfull positioning. All the other new "fun" game mechanics they added however disgusts me and makes me vomit. I may play a 1 bot hangar to mech out before seeing them but I'd reather have game modes without those 「fluffernutter」ers.

Honesty I don't have a problem with the COC enforcement and I am one of the worst posters here. I think the direction of the game in recent updates has pushed people away from the game and any interest in participating in forum about the game.

I was in bed sleeping 4 hours ago,and is is still early in the morning. Maybe, the member profile has changed over time. I usually see 10-20 members online, and it did not change at any noticable degree.

I think there’s too many stuff on top like stickies and now new subforums. You should only put something on top when the thread keeps falling off the first page due to heavy activity. Right now all I see are the same threads all week. I had a thread I created stay on the first page for 3 days. It gives the appearance that the forum is dead.
Is the subforum necessary? No one ends up looking at them. It totally killed the hot topic that was the Hawk. Honestly who cares if there were too many topics about it. A few threads are better than one thread with 30 pages — no one likes to go through all those pages, some good posts end up getting missed.
[edit] Actually looking at the general forum now, I see a lot of Hawk threads. And then there are some on the subforum. This indicates nobody looks at the subforum and just create new threads anyway.

This ×100. While I agree that the main reason things have slowed down here is game related (not as many changes/new stuff in the last few months, which is a good thing btw), the fact that there are so many subforums really spreads everything out and makes the forum a lot less attractive and harder to follow. Why are Tips/Advice, News/Announcements, and Test Server their own subforums? They barely get used, and they lead to double post and missed information because a lot people only use and look at General Discussion. Just combine them all in GD to make things easier and more attractive. And don't get me started at all the stickies. Outside of COC and maybe glossary, nothing should be stickied for more then a few months. If threads are important enough they don't need stickies to stay relevant, just look at 10 beacon minimum.

I think a lot more forumities and ex-members to come back/get active if the rules get relaxed again. Just my personal opinion. That's like saying people only come here to rant and complain. I remember when I first came here. It was a friendly and fun place (still is, don't get me wrong). Back then, there wasn't that much complaining - other than Hydra and sniper builds. If anything, the enforcing of the CoC is trying to get back to that happy place. Is it really so bad that we want this forum to be a cool relaxed and fun place to visit, chat and discuss War Robots and other topics? Is it wrong to cut down on the negativity? I don't know about most people, but I play to be entertained, and I come to the forum to share my experiences, good and bad, and it's another form of entertainment. I have enough going on in my life - as I'm sure most folks do - to want to come to my "fun place" and have to deal with more negativity, anger and hate. Sorry, don't mean to sound like I'm coming down on you, I'm not. But I'm getting a little tired about all the complaints about us enforcing the CoC. I gotta ask, have we REALLY come down hard on people? Were our bans not justified? Hell, the Reported post section has been a literal ghost town lately and I'm loving that. People literally flew into a tizzy when we announced that we were going to enforce the CoC more strictly, but many never stopped to think about it or look at what we've done here. As for certain ex-members. All I can say is that I really don't know what's going on in their lives and I make huge allowances for the fact that people might be suffering from a lot of stress. But, a lot of ex-member posts seemed to descend deeper and deeper into a rabbit hole - as if they could no longer tell real world from game world and could not let go of the anger they felt. They seemed to lose sight of the fact that the game and this forum are two separate entities. Complain about the game all you want, but do it in a mature, rational manner. Disagree with other members but do so in a respectful manner. That's all we really ask. Is that so hard?

Definitely noticed less new posts whenever i refresh recent threads. Most likely the four red ao mings in each match deteriorated the forum population.
It all happened after titans came out, made the game way more stale imo

It's just we lost quite a lot of "colourful" members ever since the CoC and that's dulled things around here for me. Listening to those guys go off was great entertainment for me
