Conventuonal wisdom says:
1. Get another Taran for the Rhino and replace the Hydra
2. Move the Tulumbas from the Boa to the Griffin and buy another Tulumbas and a pair of CRV Pins to finish outfitting the Griff
3. The Raijin is fine as is, however most consider both Raijin and long range weaponry sub-optimal.
4. Buy an Thunder for the Boa and replace the Tulumbas with and Orkan or a Taran. Third choice would be a Punisher T
You may want to stash the Rhino and Raijin in the Garage as they are most likely matching you against better equiped opponents. An additional Griffin could take the place of your Rhino while you improve your weaponry, and can fit in when you open your fifth hanger slot. You could use another medium bot equiped for close range combat in place of the Raijin possibly a Patton with Pinatas.

Some other broad based ideas for you:
- upgrade weps before bots....your weps should be 2 levels higher than your bot roughly. Higher bots are more likely to put you into the next tier before you can really compete there with your weps
- don't be in a rush to push bots and weps upward...take your time and uniformly upgrade your line up
- get a fourth slot....imperative to sustain your game play, getting more damage/silver/gold, and meet clan minimums
- read the forums on tiering...it is arcane and not 100% based on clear logic, but there is a lot of info on rules of thumb on med and heavy bot and wep levels that will more likely keep you in certain tiers (i.e., medium lvl 4 bots with 9 lvl weps for hi silver)
Enjoy the game...learn from each win and loss.
As far as clans, many have minimum slot and trophy criteria. Clans are good for establishing relationships for squad play and for more coordinated play...just about everyone is willing to give you advice so you don't need a clan for that.

One last thing where you ask the point about being on a squad....you want to squad daily as there is a daily squad bonus of an extra 3 gold for the first three wins on a squad. You don't have to stay on the same squad each time, but you get a nice 9 gold kicker every day (I think it is 3 per winning match, right?). You can also find some friends this way and run regularly with you.
Running in a squad with members who I know their playing style and bots/weps also adds to my enjoyment of the game....some predictability in a game where every match is different.

I'm fairly new like you, our gold and wsp spending is about the same, though our bot and weapon choices are different. If you really want to step up, get rid of your trebs and spider and go knifer or mid range missiles, you will learn a lot more with them than sitting on your 「bum-bum」 at base. Instead of kwk boa, go thunder taran or orkan boa, those are really great. Also, level weapons before bots. You ideally want weapons 2 levels above bots.
