So I'm almost going to get my Ao Jun...
I'm at 5800 components and I'm probably gonna get it quick with gold later on. I've actually played with the Ao Jun countless times, but only in skirmish and custom hangars. Can someone give me advance tips to piloting Ao Jun, as well as upgrade tips and what to put on it?
Thanks!!!

Not an expert on tactics, but I can def say that knowing your flight characterstics to the point of instinctually knowing when and where you will land is key... practice practice. Beyond that, if you are pretty familiar with it then you prolly know all I know in that regard.
As far as weapon loadouts, you have some choices depending on what you want to use it for.
Redeemers are good for anti Ravana work, and with the Legendary Pilot or Quantum Radar, anti Red AJs. If they are leveled enough they are good against unsheilded bits of Titan, too. Lots of damage but take practice to hit with.
Embers are not bad for most things. Splash around corners and physical shields, and bypass energy shields.
Glaciers are evil... in general. If you have them leveled, use them.
Calamities are great for anti Ao Jun work. Again, if you have the Legendary Pilot they make you an air superiority fighter against other AJs.
Avengers still work but not as awesomely as before... make sure they are leveled up.
Vipers are pretty good too... and do a number on DR bots... best for lower leveled AJs that need to keep some range open for some encounters... not so much for anti-Ming work since you can't use your flame to get in there as easily and spend more of your precious flight time getting into range. Still, a decent choice.
I'm seeing a bit more maxed Thunders on AJs now... too. Up close they are pretty powerful since the buff.

I've actually played with the Ao Jun countless times, but only in skirmish and custom hangars. Can someone give me advance tips to piloting Ao Jun, as well as upgrade tips and what to put on it? Thanks!!! What is your primary expected target for this Ao Jun? There are generally 2 purposes of AJs out there now. Titan killers and Ao Jun (stealth) hunters. If you want a Titan killer, the generally accepted best load outs are Glacier and Ember with Avengers coming behind those. The reason why is that the first 2 bypass physical shields and are great for the slow Arthurs out there (they do well on Kids too) and are passable on Mings and Nodens. Avengers still put out lots of damage and do 2x damage on Arthur shields, but don't bypass. For pilots, if you are planning to use a Legendary Pilot, the Alika and Adrian pilots work very well here as they maximize damage output. If you want an Ao Jun hunter, then the first thing we are talking about is getting Yang Lee pilot that grants you Quantum Radar when in flight. This is a huge advantage and will make you extremely dangerous to anything that can stealth. The optimal load outs here are Calamity, Redeemer, Viper and Avenger. These all can do significant damage and are relatively accurate. Accuracy is super important with this as you're targeting fast moving stealth targets like the Loki and Ao Jun in flight. Doing this while flying can be difficult. The Calamity doesn't miss which is why it's the top choice. Redeemer is also extremely accurate, though aiming is more difficult because there isn't a lock-on feature like with the Calamity and your range is limited. Still, they hit like a Mack truck. Viper is very accurate up to 400 meters and has the added benefits of being cheaper to upgrade and good against bots with DR (including titans, though not the Arthur). They aren't the best for hunting AJs though because you want to kill them ASAP. Avengers are less accurate than before, but are still a good and cheap option for sure. I'm sure I missed something weapons-wise, but modules should be damage focused. If played right, you should be landing in relative safety after flight. Last Stand is good of course. Lockdown Ammo and Deathmark are good Titan killing options. Lockdown Ammo, Phase Shift and healing are probably good options for Ao Jun hunters as well, but I don't run the stealth hunters. I'll leave that to other commentators. I'll also leave good flight technique to others as well. Much has already been said and written about this on the forums so the search function might also yield you good results. Good luck! Edit: I'll echo what ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48 said above.

First tip. Make sure you have a Lee and if you dont, set the Jun up for an Arthur killer or late game damage dealer. Ember is best against Arthurs. They will scurry away most of the time.

Wow!! Thanks guys!!! I didn't expect that much of a response!
Ive got 2 Glaciers and 2 Calamities, so I'm probably gonna try 'em out first to see which suits me most. I dont have Yang yet, but i'm gonna try get it sometime later.
In your opinion, whats the biggest threat to an Ao Jun? And whats the best things to use in high-meta leagues?
Thanks everyone!!!

Also, I think ravana is going to be a problem, as I usually kill Ao Juns with my Ravana. So i may use calamity as they're probably better against ravana
Also, I wanted my Ao Jun to be a Titan Slayer ( ?° ?? ?°) especially against Arthurs. Thats why I need to decide between Calamity and Glacier They are very different weapons, yet very similar in power.
I think im gonna use advanced repair on the first 7 levels, then switch to Quantum Radar when i hit the champs' league.

Both Glacier and Calamity are good against Ravana, you just have to time it better with the rockets. Glacier is also much better against Arthurs. Calamity, not so much unless you can get behind it. You really can't go wrong with either build, but if you go Calamity, you should get the Legendary Pilot to go with it so you can smoke other AJs. Also I would recommend PS as that seems to works best with Ao Jun, especially as someone new to flying the Ao Jun. It's like a get out of jail free card for when you land wrong.

Landing, landing, landing. Oh did I mention the landing? Usually if you miss your designated LZ by a fraction, you will get smoked with the quickness. Oh and don't try anything fancy, like trying to land on the outer railings on Carrier map. That usually doesn't end too well. LOL

The upcoming Quantum Radar module for Titans will be a huge nerf to the Ao Jun. With a range of 350m, that would mean you won't be able to use all the good anti-Titan builds on the Ao Jun. At this stage in the game, I'd recommend Yang Li and Calamities and playing the Ao Jun as a multi-role/range bot.

If you are shooting for Titan killer. Takes practice and you need to modify you abilities to help with health, but I had great experience with death mark and embers. I would death mark ANYTHING after I smoked Titan. I retired that bot for a Flame Ravana that now is my Titan hunter.

Also I heard Adrian Chong say that Ao Ming isn't gonna get the Quantum Radar, so if thats true, at least i can still smoke the Mings out of the sky. (lol) Since i hate titans and i want my Jun to slay them, Im upgrading my Glaciers now to lv5/6 so they can be fully usable when i get it.

I'm running glacier and vipers. Glaciers do insane burst damage, and has been discussed a lot already. The on my Ao Jun/Lee pilot, so great for killing other Ao Jun's but also ravana, due to the burst. If you time it right, in that very small window of opportunity you have with ravanas, you can seriously hurt them. Less so with calamities or vipers. I chose vipers over calamities (both are excellent), due to the abundance of leeches. They are no issues using vipers, I just shoot them during their ability. And with 2.12 vipers and maxed Thermonuclear Reactor's you take them out easily. Also you can really damage AMs with maxed vipers. Calamities are a great threat to my Ao Jun's, so it depends what you want to hunt. Just compare at Wiki the damage output between viper&calamity to choose which would fit your needs. The Glaciers however are absolute top, especially when adding 2 overdrive units.

At this point, with the uncertainty, I'm leaving my Ao Jun's alone and am focusing my upgrade efforts on other bots. I finally got my Ardent Blitz with Sparks up to L9 so now I'm trying to upgrade my pair of Wasps to run on a Hover with Sting. In the WS, I'm working on Shredders to run on my Ancient Tyr with Scourges. My Cerebus...is just sitting on the shelf until I figure out what I'm doing with it.
