Hello Battle-brethren,
I'm in Master 2 and I'm not pleased with how my robots are performing when everybody has Last Stan and Mk2 everything. I'll be putting up another thread about robots and such, but this is a bigger question. My equipment is mostly in the 8-10 range, and that's moderately quick/cheap to level. Given the hangar below, do you think I'd be better off finding a few more good bots to switch some of these out and level, or should I concentrate on getting what I've got up to 12?
If it makes a difference, I don't have much premium stuff, especially modules. So. Better 'bots, or level what I got?

I think overall that is not a bad set of bots, I have levelled up worse. all are present in numbers across champs league, some obviously more Meta than others. I would be inclined to level them. Obviously if there is something that you don’t like or isn’t working for you, perhaps leave that build on the long finger.

It's a decent hanger. I like the bots you have and don't think you need to go "fishing" for new ones. I really like your Ares build, as I have one just like it in high champ! IMO the best thing you could do is get some other weapons for your Ao Jun. Glories just don't work with it, they are expensive to upgrade, and are generally pretty bad heavy weapons. Much better off with Calamity, Cryos, or even Avengers.
The weapons on your Leech and Tyr wouldn't be my first choice, but are alright. Other then that, ditch the Kid and you'll be good. Just keep upgrading.

Some good advice here, overall.
What build is giving you the most, "meh", feeling?

Also, you might want to consider getting a dedicated beacon runner. Not essential, but I got tired of someone on the other team always getting to critical beacons first. That's when I decided to be "that guy" and become it for my team.

I'd focus on getting Last Stands and maxing them. That project took me forever and I kept my bots at L9/10 the entire time, but it was worth it. I think it made a bigger difference than taking my bots to 12 would have. Save your gold to get to 5k and you should win a Last Stand or two eventually from an event as well. Hoard your silver until Upgrade Overdrive and then use it to max modules first and foremost. Overall I'd prioritize modules before weapons before bots.
The other thing is that it looks like it is your Titan that is dragging you up to where the rest of your hangar is struggling. Subbing out for a weaker Titan/weapons might be worth a try. I have been saving my platinum until I see a setup I want, but I've noticed that keeping my Titan unlevelled helps on matchmaker and buys me time to build up my regular hangar strength first.

Well there's a couple parts to it. First, I would prioritize regular modules over weapons because they're cheap and quick to upgrade and give a permanent 5% boost regardless if you switch the weapon or bot. Second, when it comes to Upgrade Overdrive weekends, premium modules should definitely get the priority. I have never upgraded a premium module except during UO. The savings are a lot greater for modules than for weapons or bots during those weekends, because their upgrade times are so much quicker. When I've had enough silver saved, I've managed to max 2 premiums during UOs for a total savings of 100M (and then I sneak in a long weapon upgrade at the end too if I can). In between UOs though, I'd focus on regular gear upgrades (weapons before bots). And then lastly, even priced at 5K gold and 150M silver, Last Stand is definitely the best value in the game. Taking weapons up a couple levels just doesn't give you the same edge as 4 seconds of immunity. So even though it doesn't immediately get upgraded, I'd urge people to think of it as their top priority in terms of gear.

"Taking weapons up a couple levels just doesn't give you the same edge as 4 seconds of immunity."
100% agree with this. It doesn't sound like much, but think about every time you've been trying to take out a Red and that sucker just won't die and even worse he gets away and has time for healing and comes back at you.

And, I used to love running Rayker but with one of the previous updates it just doesn't crawl to the places that make it effective, at least for my style of play. I'd probably replace it with a fast bot like others have mentioned.

I see maybe weapons moving around in your hangar more than anything else.
The only bot you have that I run is the Tyr, and I feel it works better with mid range weapons unless it is super high level.I'm very pleased with my Pulsar&Shredder setup.
I think Ares (and Hades) will soon need weapons that out range the upcoming Scorpion's ability. Like Husard&Marquess I would guess. (This is speculation from my part, credible people may say otherwise).I
I have been using Tarans for years, still like them a lot. Not sure how good these are on a Leech (never used mine), but I would guess the long ability time would give you enough time to unload them then run for cover.
My Glory has been benched since the shotgun nerf.
I think you should first figure out if you want a fast bot to get early beacons, then think about moving your weapons around. Many fast bots do well with shotguns and you have many of these on bots I think could work better with mid range weapons being level 1.9.
If you are resource tight like I have been until not so long ago, I would advise to prioritize weapons then basic modules with Ag, and getting Last Stand with your gold keeping in mind that they cost a lot of Ag to upgrade and are not that useful until they get lo lvl 4.
Just my opinion from low-to-mid Champions League, where you will probably end up soon whatever you decide to do.

You're bots will take you far. I would get more Pulsars and Shredders for your Tyr. I leveled my bots to 2.12 and I don't have premium modules. It takes time to max your bots, but it's worth it if you enjoy playing them. If you don't mind getting scratches on your bots, I'd forgo the Last Stand. I would run Arthur or Nodens instead of Kid

Last Stand is like the finishing piece to a competitive hangar.

Thanks for the good advice and comments, everyone. A lot of good stuff in this thread! Based on your advice, I'm planning on keeping the Leech/Au Jun/Ares, and I'm building a Ravana. (7400 components as of today) My last bot will also have to be built in the workshop, and is currently tied between Nightingale and Loki. I'll put that discussion in a separate thread to avoid confusion.
The next part of my question is weapons. Here's the current plan, based on weapons that I have, though I'll need to level several of them.
Storm Ravana Redeemer Au Jun
Scourge Leech Ares (if there's no Nightingale, Corona/Shredder. If Nightingale, then Tarans and either sparks or shredders)
I know these aren't the best weapons available. My question is: Most of these weapons are about level 8 or 9 and will need tons of upgrades. Should I bite the bullet and build some better weapons and level those, or just get on with what I've got?
Good single weapons I've got that would need partners: Heavy Glacier (1 lvl1)
Medium
Igniter (1 lvl7) Cryo (1 lvl1, plus 2075 components)
Light
Blaze (2 lvl7) Rime (1 lvl7) Halo (1 lvl10) Gust (2 lvl 10)
