My mind has been watching matches with Leeches in them and it got me thinking .
Who is the bigger idiot in the match, the guy who shoots the Leech and damages his team-mates or The guy who shoots the Leech when he is the one being linked to for damage...
Hmmm...talk about low intelligence quotients...

I shoot leeches when they are tethered to me all the time: if they are almost dead or almost at Last Stand, if I’m in Last Stand and take no damage, if I have ice rockets and want to slow them down or soften them just before repulse ends, or if I’m about to die from the leech anyway so why not give them a face full and get into my next bot faster.

will gladly die putting a leech on next to nothing HP. 4 med weapons will usually kill you anyways.

I shoot leeches all the time, does that make me an idiot? Before answering, consider this: 1. we're talking about a mobile phone video game. 2. People play mobile phone video games while taking a dump.

People play mobile phone video games while taking a dump. If they wipe themselves with their phones, that would certainly explain the supremely idiotic play of most of my teammates today.

I'd say I try not to when solo'ing or running a duo if it's leeched on to a random teammate. But if I'm in a squad with clanmates then we have a policy of open season on a leech, tethered or not. Of course you need to use discretion if your squad mate is barely alive but can still contribute then you try not to fire if he's tethered. But, it's really difficult to track who's connected to who and which side is leeching in a brawl of 5 or 6 leeches over center beacon or if you can't see the leech.
I say, try not to shoot them, but if you do or if it's done to you, then don't let it upset you.

I’d say it’s the player shooting the Leech with a teammate tethered. The tethered player shooting the Leech is making a conscious decision (usually) as the results are immediately in the top left corner.
