I've always wondered if the second hanger was worth it. I won a au Ming in the anniversary event so I have a second titan to put in it. It would probably become my fun/old bots hanger I was wondering if the flexibility is worth the (overpriced) 7500au investment.

Some time ago they were on sale for a mere 1k. I should have ?female dog?ed at Pix for my 26k gold.
You're gonna need .99 offers... That's all I used.

I got my extra hangars back when the modes were not selectable. It was almost a requirement due to the fact that you couldn't tell what was coming from one match to the next and I prefer different bots for TDM compared to DOM, and even from DOM to BR I would have different setups. Not to mention KoTH (but I am not 100% sure that was in the random queue now... CRS syndrome kicking in)
Anyway, I digress... now... I really don't consider it a "MUST HAVE", especially if you still have pilots to get promoted and such. BUT... that said, I don't consider it a waste, either. I have a "Main" hangar that I use for the majority of my DOM matches, an alternate hangar that is more geared for BR, and a "TDM" hangar that is mostly ranged and tanky. Again... this isn't necessary since you can choose what you play and can tailor your hangar based upon the games you intend to play without worrying too much. It saves time and is convenient, but not at all necessary.
Also, if you don't already have 5 bots ready to go, it would just add to your feeling of needing to get things done and could distract you from your "main" hangar goals.
Of course, this is all subjective because we all play our own War Robots, and what may be important to some isn't to others, but these are the things that come to mind when thinking about it.

What Tricky said above. I have 4 hangars and really only ever use one. When they came out there was a good reason.
Now with modules, MK2, Titans and pilots all eating resources I cannot even dream of running two competitive top champ playing hangars.
If lower level it could still work for you IF you never plan on going say past LV MK1 9.
Just my thoughts.

It's a massive investment when you take into account all the resources required to maintain two sets of properly levelled hangers.
I used to use two hangers down in the lower leagues years ago, but in upper leagues where quality matters, you're better off sticking to one high level hanger rather than two semi high levelled hangers.
I haven't used my second hanger for competitive purposes for ages now.

When it costed only 1k Au. Even then, I barely populated my second hangar, and the lineup is still underleveled in there. I think Au is better spent on pilot uprades up until the rank of major.

Multiple hangars is a thing of the past where the players were unable to select the team game mode imo. Now it only saves you time of moving your bots/gears around.

I have three and wish I had one; although, after many years playing I now have enough good bots to be competitive with my second hanger. So my plans now are to save up yo get more of the premium modules like last stand, etc for the coco day hanger. Biggest issue will be there is no way in my lifetime that I will be able to upgrade a second Titan. As Titans Are upgraded it will be hard to compete against them without your own upgraded Titan.

I run 5 hangars. My first is brawlish/ambush, second is for big maps, third is my air force hangar, fourth is another brawlish hangar with an edge on MR instead of ambush, and my fifth started out as a Legacy, but due to all the new content I've been getting and I want to play, it's evolving into a second big map hangar. I like variety and I don't want to keep changing bots/builds around (even though I still kinda do).

People put in 18k gold to max pilots, and I can't even get a pilot from 40 to 50 because it takes so damn long. They must be using gold to level the pilot too. Some bots do gain a lot from skills - some don't. I'm not about to fret over 2.5% or something, but if it's something important I have it. |

I had a main and a fun/legacy/under leveled. I then found I was using the secondary more and then started the monthly hangar thing. |

I had one hangar. Then the sale for 1k Au was on so I bought 4 more because of he lizard/hoarding brain. I use my 2nd hangar 1 out of 100 matches. Some day hangar #2 will be Champions League ready but that's a lot of expense to get there that I don't want to bear, so, I just shuttle bots from hangar 2 to hangar 1 for variety.
These guys have already said it quite well. You are most likely better off putting the 7500 into a pilot you know will serve you well. Maybe an Adrian?

I'm always low on recources I've been playing for a few years and at some point, made the conscious or unconscious decision that I liked variety more than power. So, most of my stuff is at Mk1 L8/9, with a few sitting at L11. None of my stuff is currently Mk2. |

Thanks for the input I like variety but I also like having cool abilities so maybe when I have more than five fun/powerful bots I will invest in the second hanger just for varieties sake. but there are better things to invest in right now. like pilots, BTW do you think the manual skill select is worth it or is it cheaper to try and get lucky?

Mate I don't see any reason for someone to get a second hangar.. Is not like old times.. When war robots was called walking war robots.
In this new era the game is super speedy.. In the old days there was a reason to have two hangars.. One for open maps one for close..now a phantom can run from one side to another and cut you in half in 10 secs..
My personality view is this.. Stick to one hangar. With new this economy that runs almost two years is dramatically difficult to upgrade all bots and weapons to top.

My main hanger is optimized for short range brawling with quicker bots. It can do some beacon running but isn’t optimized for it. It’s more move into position under cover on the flanks and pick off the far most red..
I find the open maps hell to play with using my main hanger because I often get sniped by tanks before I can get into position. So I saved my gold and got a 2nd hanger and put my older bots in there and loaded them up with 600m+ weapons. Added a nightingale and Pursuer that I got in crate drops for beacon running. Having the second hanger means I can do something useful for my team if I drop into Canyon or similar.
