A short note about using an Overdrive:
I had a hilarious situation where I was using it and really killing with it after it had been activated. However, I forgot that my pilot had the Mechanic skill. So I charged out to kill a Red and suddenly my bot got healed ABOVE the Overdrive threshold, causing it to deactivate. I died quickly and was kicking myself for forgetting.
