Hi all,
I currently have a 4 robot hanger and am saving for my fifth slot. I bought the Gahalad and kept it's level low in order to keep it in the same range as my other robots. I am finding it's shield to be a little soft at level 3. I am wondering how high I should level this with my other robots?
I have 6 Griffin with 7 orkan and 6 piñata 5 boa with 7 taran and 7 thunder 4 golem with 6 Zeus 6 tulu and 6 pin 3 Gahalad with 7 taran and two 6 mags
I won the Zeus during Halloween event and felt I had to try it. It is the only reason I own a golem. I also have back up level 5 boa's that I was using before I loaded up the Griffin. I am not having much trouble with the tier (silver?)I'm playing but I feel the Gahalad is a touch underpowered at this level. Where should it be ?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Probably it's time for you to move up towards high silver/low gold with heavy bots. Having Griffin as your only heavy bot puts you in a disadvantage as you want to keep the weapons low on it to suit your other bots, but by sacrificing firepower.
I suggest getting all your weapons to lvl7, and ready to move them all to Heavy bots. Only viable medium bots you have for low gold tier are Boa and of course, the Galahad.
Your Boa can go up to 7/8-9 and Galahad probably 6/8 due to the MM penalty on Britbots.

Agree wtih above post. When people talk about Galahad being able to back pedal to minimize pinata/ork damage, that's achieved only at L5/6 and above. At L3, just way too slow (think around 40 or 41?) - not even as fast as L1 Destrier (42).

We have been testing the Gareth and Galahad extensively to see how they are affected by MM in both solo play and squad battles. Both bots do not really fit in the Silver tier as they are both fairly weak at lower levels. However, we discovered a setup that works consistently with MM in what we call "Trash Gold" / "Garbage Gold Tier. Galahad 5 - 9/8/7 Galahad 8 - 6/7/7 Medium 6 - 9/9/9 6-9/10 Heavy 6 - 6/6/6/6 With this setup, you'll get matched consistently with high level bots - low level weapons, mostly 3 - 4 slot hangars, low win % pilots.

Just FYI for OP, this is my current hanger and I seem to be put into high silver or something. I often do the most kills/most damage/most beacons due to relatively weaker enemy bots (mostly bots like described in couchtrader's post above). I sometimes get bumped into gold tier with higher level bots then it gets tougher, but I can still do OK with this hanger. I have reached 96% win rate a week or so ago and that was the highest I have ever been. I plan to level my weapons to 9 later.

Thanks for the responses. I have been reading in other posts a lot of warnings about leveling the Gahalad too high. It badly needs more speed at this level and a stronger shield. From what I'm reading bringing it up to 6 or so shouldn't change too much for me. To be fair since I put the Griffin in my hanger the competition has been much stronger. I have been enjoying the greater challenge since I did this. My win % is still right around 80 and I'm dealing close to 450 000 damage/ match.
If I want to continue using a mid range set up is there a better suggestion for using a Zeus? I find I almost never use the golem unless the match is going very badly and I have lost all other robots. It may just be my play style but would a Leo with 3 pins be a better package?

RDB Griffin for the win, great Mid rang that can be used all the way to the top.

Golem 6 - Zeus 9 / Tulumbas 9 / Crv Pins 9 or sub the Zeus for Trident 9. I also like using Zeus / Taran / Magnum combo at this level

It all depends on which bot characteristics are most important to you. Couch Trader runs a more conventional Galahad at 5-9/8/7. I find that there are a few bots that benefit more from the better "bot" stats than slightly better weapons. My 9-6/6/5 Galahad is faster and has a better shield. It does give up some dps, but I feel the trade-off is worth it. The Fujin is another bot that is more effective with the bot levelled up higher than the weapons. At high levels that shield is pretty solid. As with everything, choose the things that are more important to you. Faster and tougher vs more dps. There is no right or wrong, just personal preference. Cheers!
