I will admit the pass is still worth it to those who don’t spend huge amounts, but want to upgrade their Titans....700 Pt is a lot for 15 bucks, plus some other goodies.....
I also must admit......I’d consider paying 15 bucks for 6 weeks of no new content or operations.....I’m kinda wanting a little peace and quiet these days.....
Maybe I’ll get lucky and be able to go back to work soon, instead of clocking in every morning for yet another day of grind, grind, grind......

What is the selling point of the second phase pass?
Hades pilot: sucks, situational Gusts: sucks Skins: they made the player base used to buying power, not skins
Wow this would be a mayor flop, but since they already made their money with pre-season and phase one, anything from phase two will be extra.

Well, I already have my 7 leveled Gusts spread across my hangars and due to the big Ag-nerf in the OPs, paying won't help me with getting upgrades done...which is pretty much the only thing I care for.

Sigh, I just invested into Infinity Ops, bought my wife an Apple Watch for Mother's Day and now I'm doing an annual service on my car. I'm bleeding money this month and it's only May 5th! I was tempted by the Legendary Pilot for Blitz and I LOVE that new skin for it. But, I really don't need a second Blitz even thought I'm currently in love with it.

Well for me its really about the bot and if I will run it in the hanger or not. There is the Pt, but I'm not really focus on my titan at then moment, sure it would be nice to upgrade him a bit, but it won't make my enjoyment of the game any better. The Au and the Ag will go into the Bot and the Pilot anyway, and those event tokens are a mug game, if you ask me. The Rimes are good, but again at the moment the only bot I would run them on is the Blitz. I would have to upgrade it and 4 light weapons(don't have anything worth while levelled, bar 2 gusts). So just not sure? I might sit on it for a bit and see how things pan out. The most effective "cheaper" light weapons are the spark and the shredder. Many have run them on here. I run the shredder variant right now and with 2 damage modules and an average of weapon levels of 2.8 (mk2 level 8) I'm putting out 200k damage in 4 seconds with a 3 second reload. It's very nice.

I bought the pass without even looking at the levels and rewards. Pix - 1 Ghost - 0 *I could use a Blitz though, seems fun. Iâm into fun these days Shame on a 「racist word」 who tried to run game on a 「racist word」... ODB does not approve

Personally, I hope they have a longer Ops next time. They won’t, according to my contacts this is how they plan to roll them out moving forward because too many casual players couldn’t complete the longer operations.

Why? Because people are still buying and they get to sell 4 Ops passes during the same time as they used to sell 1. They quadrupled their revenue for ops passes. Event tokens are probably not worth much because they can simply dial down the odds in the back end. So platinum and gold is on offer in reality along with a small amount of silver. Yes, exactly my impression. TBH players have demonstrated that they are still willing to spend the same amount of RM for half as much as what they were getting before hand in Operations rewards so why not continue the trend unless there is a great uproar (which I doubt). I've said it before - Pix are gradually introducing paying mechanisms for what you used to get for free until players become conditioned to paying for anything. T34 is on point and concise, as usual: it seems that Operations are now more directly transactional than they were: consider: the Blitz, Blitz Legendary Pilot, 700 Pt. 700 Pt is what, $100? Blitz, if offered, will go for at least $40 (and it wonât be in the workshop) Clyde Viscous will be 2500Au at least, so that brings the total to $150 in the usual run of things. Therefore, $15 for a short-term op is a 90% reduction in what those things could be had for, AND thereâs considerable variety of resources...with most of the bull「dookie」 squeezed out of the âprizeâ chain (or did I imagine the complaints about components and PCs as âprizesâ?). Add to that how dense the purchased track and how sparse the free track, they seem to be genuinely be trying to make it as irresistible as possible. In my current reduced circumstance, $15 is a lot of money, but ordinarily, this would be an auto-buy for me. Itâs so seldom Pix does anything I see real advantage in, and even rarer for a reasonable move to be underpriced. Maybe theyâre feeling the squeeze themselves: I doubt anyone has much money or patience these days.... Anyway, I ended up buying the pass track on this last op, donât feel taken advantage of at all by it. This time, everything in the op is stuff I can and will *USE*, and Iâd never get it piecemeal or thru grinding. Big spender, me....

Just like the last event I relented and bought the op pass and now I have a baby French Ming. It is slow for sure but time will cure that. With these 1000 token chests you could get some nice Titan gear which sounds cool. I'm not sure if they are giving Titan modules away or not but that would be a timeless item to hold onto.

Gusts do indeed suck the big one. They are boring to use, they have no special effect and have been outmoded years ago. As soon as the lock down shotguns came out it was already obsolete.

If that is the case these Op passes seem overpriced for the rewards? Same as the long Ops? They got me today for $15 bones cause I just ASSumed this was a long one, and the rewards seem minimal but I could be wrong. The value is actually increased from the longer OPS, depending on how far you can get.... but better overall for most players. Quick value: $50 in Pt, $10 in Au, $30 in event crates for the $14.99 price tag on OPS, not including the bots/skins/pilots etc

I am completely in love with my Sparks and Shredders, almost all thanks to the WS I have six of the one and four of the other, though they won’t get past 9 no matter how much I love them. I have a Blitz, but don’t like playing it because it’s made out of tinfoil; the pulse of annoyance following the 20 seconds of practice I get isn’t worth it. Dat Pilot, OTOH...I might be able to keep it on the field long enough to learn how to run it effectively

I'm disappointed that there is not a currency used from the operation pass so you could buy it again with that specific currency. Such as PUBG Mobile's UC or Fortnite's V-Bucks. You basically have to spend $15 every 20 days! If you buy every single pass it's almost $300 a year! Edit: Did not know that there were long operations. I am sorry. Still expensive and disappointing regardless

I bought the pass for last operation and was done before I know it and had over a week in which felt great so I didn't have to play like it was my job. The operation before that which was a full 100 I played like a demon and only made it to level 98. OUCH! It's either going to be too short or too long. Maybe 60 is a good stopping point.

There ARE event *tokens*, yes. And to your implied question, yes: the 1000-token chest gave me an antimatter reactor module yesterday.

This thread is about the new OPERATION that kicked off this morning. Operation “Iron Phoenix”. There are definitely 1000-token chests *in the anniversary event*, never said anyone was confused about that; and it contains Titan-only gear. Never said anyone was confused about that, either. I’ve opened a couple of them so far. We’re discussing whether the “battle pass” for the current operation is worth the $15. Was wanting to disambiguate, because there seemed to be some confusion *in this thread* as to “where we were”. Not aimed at you. Apologies for my clumsy posting. Yes, there are Titan modules in the 1000-token chest. I’m done.

Don't get me wrong as I have simply provided an expanded viewpoint (mine) on what T34 had posted. The justification for spending is indicative of what I mean by conditioning the player base. Using this Ops as an example, in reality, if they can bundle all of that "gear" for US$15 (A$23 here) how much is it really worth compared to the other prices quoted? Remember, Pix is out to make $$$$, not pander to the players and they will still be making $$$$ at US$15/A$23. Players are getting half a track now (40 prizes) for the same price as what they were getting a full track (100 prizes) - even if players can't complete a full track on either the cost and prizes are proportional based on OXP required (tbh I can't finish either ). If players want to spend money on this mobile game then great, do so. I have not indicated that anyone should not spend.
