It’s a hard bot to kill once the ability is active, but it’s no leech with repulse or a phase shifting ravana. Once the ability is worn off, easy to kill. Leeches can take you out through walls without firing using repulse. Ravanas can just princess button their way out of taking damage indefinitely. Add in clown shoe cryos big budgets and cowardly tactics... not the same league of bot. QUICK! SOMEONE CALL THE WHAAAAAAMBULANCE! Man. I hadn't heard that one in 20 years. Probably.

Well, they broke me. Yes, the Ravana is still ?fluffernutter?ing stupid. But I and my meager 3-slot hangar of mostly level 8 over-achiever bots actually made it to Masters 3 yesterday, the highest Iâ??ve ever gotten in this game, and it suddenly became a real struggle facing mostly Champions now. I am not going to push to a fourth slot, no, that would be too easy, not to mention selling out and diverging from my original purpose with this account. But I am selling out in another way, pacifically finishing up a Ravana of my own in the WS. I got 6500 sharts in a past event that I never did anything with. My Rayker and Tyr are mostly holding their own, but my speed slot is hurting. It was housing my Mk2.12 Cossack for the longest time, then most recently my Loki, which is ok, but not doing crap for honor points or game rank. And as much as I said I don’t care about advancing up the league ranks, I’m working harder now in every game and getting less and less for my efforts. I already have Arnav Poe sipping tea in the commissary and a set of lvl 8 storms collecting dust, so I’ll hit the ground running with that stuff. It’?s just time to put a little more grunt in slot #1, and that extra bit of speed won’?t hurt, either. And of course it’s going to be sporting a Phase Shift module, just because.
So yes, Iâ??m about to become part of the problem.

Ok, I am now officially part of the problem. Ravana is done, had a set of lvl 9 storms collecting dust, and Arnav Poe had been sitting around in catering for the last couple of months waiting for a ride. A few (not-so-) quick ads later it’s up to lvl 4 and ready for its first test run, which I’d have to say was successful considering it’s just been weaned off the mothership’s teat.
As for it being f’n stupid, yes and no - yes, the concept of a bot that can’t be shot half the time is stupid; no, because there are so damn many of them out there now, the stupid is spread all around. So relatively speaking, it’s not quite as stupid as it once was.
Scorpions, though, are still plenty stupid.

It might have felt more balanced if they had timed it more like a stealth feature and had transcendence for 10 seconds or so with a 15 second cool down.

OF COURSE, as soon as I get Ravana in the hangar, I’m back to game after game facing all high-level champions. This game is un?fluffernutter?ingbelievable. .

This is the type of game you pay to win, a max ravana with legendary pilot and shot guns is almost unkillable. They can stay phased almost indefinitely and 3 or 4 hit kill you in between shiffting, almost every game of mine people run 2 or 3 ravana per hanger and the first half of the game is getting massacred trying to deal with them, just another annoying pay to win aspect of the game.
The only way to counter is with scourge, spark or calamity but shotgun burst damage beats electric burst damage so one on one you get murdered anyway, considering you cant lock them down there is honestly no effective counter other than throwing bots at it.

Just another case of, can't beat em, join em (like OP). Eventually we catch up and get a bit of "revenge fun" just in time for a new bot to take the last ones place........

I almost sold my Ravana and Leech last night.
Certainly don't enjoy fighting against them, but I'm not really that into piloting them, either.

Though my Ravana is only lvl 6, the storms are 8/9/9, and they suck. On the other hand, most games I’m up against very high-level champs, so it doesn’t much matter what I run - anything in my hangar gets insta-melted and does squat for damage. So far about the only thing Ravana is good for is kill-stealing if I’m fortunate enough to have a teammate close by and there’s only one red for him to wear down. Otherwise, right now it’s squishy as hell and the storms are crap, even at point-blank range. But again, just barely hanging on in M3 with a mostly lvl 8 hangar frequently facing high-level champ players, nothing I have will stand up for long anyway. But I wouldn’t sell them - the paltry silver you’d get isn’t worth the grind it took to get them.

Man, I thought I was doing good in Diamond 3 with a lvl 8 hangar since I see others down here with lvl 9 and 10 hangars.

With the exception of a 2.12 Cossack that I maxed just to see how far it would go (with a 1.10 igniter), I made it to M3 with a 3-slot lvl 8 hangar. Once I got there, it’s maxed out champion city, so I broke down and opened a 4th slot and swapped the Cossie out for a Loki. I’ll tell ya, I’m not faring much better with 4 slots though, other than occasionally surviving long enough to fully charge Arthur. M3 is not very much fun.
