So lately decided to jump into cod mobile and give it a try, and honestly I was pleasantly surprised, and that's putting it lightly.
The weapons are balanced, any talk of imbalance is down to very slight differences usually, and nerfs are always slight as well when they happen, you can level up gear easily and all that does is unlock certain attachments which have their pros and cons, when you get a weapon it is useable right away, the main monetization strategy is cosmetics and special edition weapons and character models, there are tons of game modes and a fully customizable interface.
Then I got back on war robots and played a few games, and for as much as I love this game, and I won't be quitting, but its simply inferior by basically every standard I could think of, CoD Mobile does require more getting used to due to all the controls you need to learn, but after a few matches you should get the idea.
Now with all that said, have any of you tried the game? did you like it or drop it like a hot rock?

ehhh, no.
I can't see FPS working on a phone, period. I've tried it, and it sucks.
Hence all the ã??female dogã?ing about the targeting system in War Robots. It's not always the targeting system... target scrolling is a ã??female dogã?, and finding vertical targets, but that's about it. The problem is your HAND gets on the screen and ?fluffernutter?s with input.
I don't even fuss with that anymore. I play with a mouse and keyboard. You can't play CoD mobile with KB/M or I'd be trolling trolls.

I'm pretty sure you can run an emulator, its just they'll only match you up with other players running emulators last I checked, same with those using controller. Personally I haven't had any issues with playing on a phone, it's a bit more complex than war robots but honestly I like that, Once I got my button layout set up the way I wanted it I didn't have any issues, I'm no pro but it's quite playable.

yea its good for a mobile game, I played it for a bit and I know a lot of War Robots players completely switched over to it. But FPS are so much better on a computer. I’ve been playing mostly CSGO these days.

War robots is a mecha game. Despite what ?dookie?onic has done to the game to remove the mecha gameplay and turn it into a death button ultra fast paced 3rd person hitscan shooter the game is still a mecha game at its core although just barely. Given a little more degradation the game will just be a 3rd person shooter with a robotic avatar and magic spells. We are basically there already. So yeah. This topic had something to do with call of dookie mobile but they're not far off from each other. I hate both.

I honestly have no issues with faster paced gameplay in War Robots, P2W is the main issue imo, you can have balance issues without p2w, but without p2w theres not an incentive to maintain an imbalance.

I have some friends that play CoD mobile and connect their Xbox controllers via Bluetooth and say it's a lot better. Obviously the mobile version can't beat the console/PC version, but I find it decent. There was a time I was about to quit War Robots and was playing way more CoD:M because all my work friends were into it. Then I suddenly got a bunch of goodies from the Christmas event that skyrocketed me into Champs and now I play War Robots all the time and maybe a few matches of CoD with the guys.

I gave CoD a try when it came out and it’s kinda fun but ultimately seemed to be just another twitch shooter and would rather play Guns Of Boom to do that. Though I rarely do that.
These are different genres and difficult to compare since some people don’t like one genre and vice versa.

I left cod after Modern Warfare 3. I tried black ops 2 but the game was never the same. They changed something with the aim/movement system too, and gunplay wasn’t as smooth after that. Since than I played Bettlefields, Battlefront, Titanfall, and now Apex Legends. The scale of the maps in these games and the magnitude of the battle made cod irrelevant for me.
The short games of cod combined with small maps just makes the game a lot less rewarding to play: the stakes are small, objectives are trivial, and everybody has unlimited respawns.

One things that turned me off was the fact that you cannot connect with your friends on other continental servers (unless they have changed that already).
When I first started it was not allowed and thus I didn't continue further.

You should try Insurgency.
