Anyway, do you guys do the same or would you keep fielding bots till the end? . Dude, take a chill pill and relax for a while. I don't have a super great hangar, a Griffin, a Golem, a Vityaz, a Destrier, and a Grasshopper (errr, I mean Cossack). I don't ever quit. This morning has been horrible. Almost every match we started out down 1 (once even 2), then I watched 1 guy never move on more than 1 occasion. I don't know what's going on with this MM system but there's not much I can do about it. What I can do is not quit. I have even used my goofy Destrier at the end of almost every match. But that's just me. I learned something 47 years ago in a place I did not want to be. Think about that one other possible team mate who is equally frustrated (maybe it was me). What about the other guy(s) trying as hard as he can ? Now you're letting him down. Not cool. Besides, at the point where you want to say "screw it", instead say "maybe I can still earn a little bit more silver for that next upgrade". Also, I've noticed that certain types of players seem to run in cycles. Every morning lately has been a disaster, then things sort of smoothed out later in the day. .

Yes, the morning matches have been 「dookie」 recently. I started today with Dead City, where two blue Nat long rangers climbed the beacon tower and an aphid Patton sat motionless while red Griffins and BritBots swarmed across the map. That was a little more stupidity than I was willing to handle with my morning coffee. Maybe I'll try later to see if I can run with some folks who at least have their 「dookie」 half together.

You never stop dropping bots - you don't save silver by not playing - from what i can tell, the repair cost is not related to your individual bots taking fire. So there is absolutely no downside to playing it out. Dropping from a game based on teammate behavior, teammate weapon selection, amount of Rajins you see in blue at start, or any other obscure reasoning is just not something I can get on board with.
Play your best, do your best, and that may be what turns the game. Some teammates just need to be led to be effective. Give them someone to follow.

The only time I throw a towel these days is at a puddle of baby vomit or pee or whatnot. Are towels useful for other things too?

I run all my bots even in a sure loss --- like when you get those 4-vs-6 matches right at the start. Even in a blowout, I want to get the most silver I can and finish the highest ranking I can in the squad so that at the least I don't lose as many league points on that loss. I will say that I throw in the towel in obvious blowouts and I'll target the squishiiest or most damaged reds I can hit, as it's just about silver and team placement --- nothing else. I generally follow the same philosophy but I have been known to not bother tossing my fifth not in if my fourth just got ripped apart in a few seconds during a game ending spawn raid. I need at least a hope of having some chance at doing something to justify the extra repair costs, even if it is just taking one of them with me in a blaze of glory. Spawning to instantly explode as a silver loot piñata, pass.

Spawning to instantly explode as a silver loot piñata, pass. I dunno, i find it rewarding to kill a guy while he is doing his obligatory weapon discharge victory celebration. I wait 3-4 seconds, until the reds stop focusing on spawn and start spinning and shooting each other, then i drop in and go to town on some dude. It is satisfying to me, to take one of them with me, ala El Sordo on his hilltop. Then, that guy has to respawn and doesn't get to party with his squad. Silver linings. I am all about the silver linings.

When your team is getting ripped apart by 12/12 aphid stalkers, and you are the only one who seems to know how to handle them, it's time to bail.
