Just had a couple of games with my Sting AQ. The first, I made a fatal misstep less than a minute into the game and got vaporized. The second, I played it smart and went the entire game with it. Over 700k damage and 3 kills. Lol, that is better than I've ever done with Sparks. . Map was Dreadnought, mode was Domination. Playstyle is very different and I kinda like it. It seems most people don't even realize that they're being hit with Stings. So it's not quite like playing with Shocktrains. With Shocktrains, there's that long cooldown and the lock on. With Stings, I can keep stinging every 3 seconds with no lock on. Hell, I don't even have to be looking at my target. I don't think I can do this well on every map or mode but damn it felt good!

Stings have the least buzz about them in War Robots. But if they are mini-Wasps then they might be worth considering. I've seen some Wasps videos and they hit hard!

I don't have either (because they cost gold...) But from past Skirmishes I liked sting more. The sting is an instant single shot, the wasp releases 5 rounds over 4-5s, and if my target evaded mid-mag I felt underwhelmed. Wasp was considerably more damaging but the cycle was a lot longer.
That damage creep is cool. Still, they both could use a buff...
That's what I wanted with AQ too, but ended up with gekkos. And that's cool too... hehe. Not a real damage dealer but something special. The built-in tazer is pretty mean.

Still leveling my sting blitz but so far the rate of fire is pretty nice

Reds don’t realise what hit them until they start dying.

Reds don’t realise what hit them until they start dying. They think its an invisible hack behind them since you cant really see the sting salvo

I love it when you have that shining moment with a bot.
One game you get vaporized and the next you can be dropping reds like flies.

Mine does okay with the Marquess. But the weapons are only 1.7 (qty 2) and 1.8 (qty 2). If they were all 1.9, it would start to be beastly.

I don't have any but I've always had this suspicion that Stings were a low-key sneaky pete of a weapon. That little never-miss trick is cool.

They're also good against those pesky bots with low level Last Stand. If I time my shot or lets be honest, if I get lucky, I'll hit the bot towards the end of the Last Stand, and it'll die from DOT. With Quantum Radar, I can get two volleys off against a flying Ao Jun. Usually not enough to kill it but it's greatly weakened when it lands.
Range management is VERY important though. Just about every other build out there can wipe the floor with me, but for me, it just adds to the thrill. It's like when I was running around with an Aphid Jesse and it's paper bag HP. A violent sneeze could kill it but lobbing a near constant stream of Aphids over cover was helluva fun.
