So I have several robots that I want to build but can't decide what to do with them, which to build, ect... first off I want a healer bot but I don't know which I should build and what to put on them.
I have 6,500 nightingale components (which I want to play) but really wanna play with a mender as well, so should I wait until I get more Nightingale components and possibly until they get into the workshop, or should I just go for the mender? Also build recommendations would be nice for Nightingale.
Next I have 2 more slots for robots (want to make a 2nd hanger worth but no more) so what should I put in there? I kinda think a vortex spec, an ao jun and I want to use my haechi but have no clue what to put on it, or I would love to use the cerberus. My question here is which 2 of those.
Basically pick a random question out of these and answer it, lol. I am doing this for future things to do because I want to have a direction to go after I finish my bully (about 2 weeks). Thanks in advance!

go for the vortex spectre if the second hangar is a fun one. for the Nightingale, punisher shredder seems to be a good build or tasers

I’m running punisher shredder avenger on one of my old Nattys that I leveled up. It’s a beast. Punisher Shredder combo is great, especially for those on a budget.

I use a avenger shredder build on my mercury so I can test the build out if I get the Nightingale any time soon, and I already know how effective a version of it is. Thanks!

Avenger shredd is insane on a mercury so boy do I know what you mean! I am not on a budget (I will tale the extra time, don't have actual money though) but getting builds that are cheap is something that I love since it makes everything faster. Thanks!

Thanks in advance! I'd totally wait for the [Nightingale]. The Mender is great, but I think the [Nightingale] is better in most regards. I have the same number of components as you do and I'm considering which one of my robots I'll remove if/when I get it. I have a Mender right now, well leveled and with good pilot skills, but it isn't in my top 5 right now, though I could absolutely fit it in. It really needs as much HP as you can throw at it to survive at the highest level. Mine's at level 11 like the rest of my bots and I don't quite think it's enough for me. I've seen some 「Nightingales] do nasty things though. Cryo is the top loadout, but other bursty loadouts do well too. You get plenty of time to reload while flying in stealth.

Some players really like it, I have been very underwhelmed w Vortex.
[Nightingale] looks like great fun, fully Champions League worthy and I would focus on that and it’s weapons. Some use it as a DB (Cryo), others keep it at distance (Shred/Pulsar), go for which ever is more your style.

Nightingale is in my opinion the best bot in the game (outside of FFA). I was running punisher T/shredder but have just recently switched to storms as it really benefits from burst damage. But in any regard it’s super fun to play and fills many valuable roles, including being an outstanding beacon runner (I have RH, spy and adamant RH skills). Mender is outstanding bot, but Nightingale is superior in my opinion

I feel kind of guilty for not using my Nightingale more than I do. I've had it for a little while now and leveled to i think 1.10. Put scourge spark on it, also 1.9-1.10 IIRC. It does ok, at those levels. Surprisingly decent survivability but you can't expect to survive in contested territory for long, at least I couldn't (I'm not the best operator!) I've used it for maybe 3 or 4 matches total. Not a fair shake - and it takes me at least 20 battles to even scratch the surface of adequate skill level.
Just like when I see them in battle, I target them - so does that happen to me when I run one. Reds focus fire on it instead of the Titans around me (I tried to play it as support) to get it out of the way.
Basically I choose to run stronger bots that are more likely to turn the battle. Perhaps if I had higher level weapons, and/or the burst damage type like cryo and rimes. I have those also but low level. Expensive to level
Maybe if I used the Nightingale a little differently...hmm. But I really like my 2.12 Phantom even with Corona Halo (devastating in short bursts), kind of like my 2.5 Leech, hard to deny it's effectiveness even with storms (again, devastating in short bursts). I've gone Ao Jun heavy now, running 2x. One is the powerhouse 2.12 with 2.12 Avengers. I drop that when the Titans come out, and especially like to hunt Ao Mings with it. The other Ao Jun is 1.10, with 1.10 Calamities and the Quantum Radar pilot. I use that to hunt other AJs and Nightingales. So what do I sacrifice to weaken my hangar a bit? The argument is obvious - run the bots you want to run, run the bots that are more fun. The Leech is one of my least favorite in that respect. I'd rather run a Spectre as my 4 medium chassis. Loved that last year with my 2.12 storms on it. Then Leeches came...gross things. Ok I guess I just made my own marching orders hah.
Watching DavTopGaming stream yesterday (he's an Anthem clan member) he runs a maxed Nightingale and drops it first, to devastating effect. He uses it more to grab beacons and brawl, and lasts forever with it.

I plan on using the robots for fun, not effectiveness, sure I want them to do well but I would much rather have fun in them. So my question is, would still say I should use nightingale since I am focusing on fun?
