In todays video I introduce you to a Brand NEW Mobile PvP Shooter game by Pixonic, the same Developer that that makes the VERY Successful War Robots. War Robots has enjoyed over 150 million downloads to date. Pixonic sticks with what they know by creating a new mobile title that takes some ques and influence from their hit game. This game is not all about huge robots, but instead it is a bit of a nod to the 1998 game called Dino-Riders. You have over 17 different prehistoric dinos to choose from and match them up with a huge selection of futuristic weapons to help your 6 player squad battle for supremacy against 6 other players. This fast paced PvP Shooter will have nice graphics paired with 6 Maps to battle on. This game also caters to various play styles, wether you enjoy slow moving ranged fighting or quick moving up close and personal brawling. This game should have something for everyone. Advanced customization will allow you to select robots, weapons and upgrade armor, abilities and perks. While this game is all written from scratch using newer coding, players should expect to experience less lag than on older titles, but the minimum device requirements to play may be a little higher than on some older games. Early bird registration for testing is open now if you would like to join in on the fun. Preregister - Android: Robots.app/DinoGP iOS: Robots.app/DinoIOS

I just played a few games. It's actually pretty smooth, but it's still very rough. In comparison, Jurassic World is prettier but much laggier. I had to stop play Jurassic because it was so laggy. I didn't have much lag with Dino Squad but then I'm not sure how many of the other players are bots or live players. The chomp attack on that first default little dino is pretty cool. It combines a melee attack that does huge damage with rush and healing.

After watching a few vids on this I have come to this conclusion... War Robots is the last Pixo game I will get into. Too many console games available and some new home studio equipment to vie for my attention... especially considering all that Pixo has done in War Robots to burn any loyalty ties they had with me. Add to that the complete rip off of that other dino game that I did try and then discard...
I say this to you, Pixo "Bad Pixo... NO. Go sit in the corner and think about what you did after making us a few new maps and fixing targeting."

Preregister - Android: Robots.app/DinoGP iOS: Robots.app/DinoIOS Pixonic weren't the original devs for this though, I downloaded and played it several months ago and it was much better. The dino designs as well as weapon mechanics were much smoother than what they are now. The raptor and the anklyosaur both had 2 weapons vs 1. I'll also add shooting the head does double damage, they didn't change that. Was a better game before pix bought it. IMO they saw it as a threat to War Robots and bought it before it took off so they could ruin it. Edit- the original version would say "MONSTER" instead of godlike

IMO they saw it as a threat to War Robots and bought it before it took off so they could ruin it. Edit- the original version would say "MONSTER" instead of godlike Monster is still announced when you get a high killstreak. 2 weapons are still available, but you have to pay gold to get those weapon upgrades. I can see it being a lot better before. Targeting is very bad. I may argue that War Robots has even better targeting. I was all for adding manual targeting to War Robots, but they managed to make it suck in Dino Squad, which is an achievement itself. Now I think they better not touch War Robots, just fix the targeting priority, and make lock-on a hard lock that never breaks. The way it works now is that you see your crosshair somewhere, and the game shoots somewhere else, not at the point you are aiming, depending from the direction of your movement and the target’s movement, most of the time your shots will land behind the target. It is horrible and unpredictable. The game’s economy will be the same BS that War Robots is or even worse. There is a second weapon slot that says “in development”. Dinos will have modules from day one (3 slots) and dinos can have up to 3 abilities, they will likely be locked behind a paywall other than one basic ability. There are 2 additional slots below modules, it says “in development”. On top of upgrading your module, you can add a different type of module (charge) inside your module to enhance it. Basically a module in a module.....

not really appealing. I mean come one, everyone loved dinosaurs when they were 10 but with big guns strapped on? imma take a pass on this based solely on aesthetics. I can't afford another habit anyway

Just remember....even if you get into this type of game, Pix is Pix.....therefore, P2W. Maybe not now, but very soon....there will be meta, there will be imbalance, there will be carrots.........
Anyone who does not believe this is fooling themselves.
Besides, the Jurassic Monster version, whom Pix ripped off, sucks azz like crazy, too.......

They are getting cocky because of how far they can push the whales here, probably hoping the newer players will do the same.

I dig...
That they're fighting dinos ... that's kinda fun
Visuals are pretty good
Game play is smooth
The music is cool!
I don't dig...
The reticle sucks... too small and/or the same color as the friggin' background. Same gripe I have about War Robots. I sent an email to PIX on this issue. I don't get why their reticles are so illogical, unrealistic ... too small or the same color as the background.
The maps are too small or perhaps the beacons are too close together. Whatever it is... the maps feel cramped.
The sudden change in POV... dizzying!
PIX wants TOO MUCH access to my Google play account. They want to be able to CREATE, EDIT and DELETE my game play activity. I get this may be due to the Dino game being a demo and they want to control it. Fine. The problem is that I have other games under that same Google play account so I'm not giving PIX access to all of my other game play. Nope!
That's all for now.
I just downloaded it... standby ...

Go sit in the corner and think about what you did after making us a few new maps and fixing targeting." I would say give it a shot anyway, what do you have to lose? It plays differently than JMW, and it's got some nice game play mechanics that differentiate it from War Robots. For example, to liberate a tower (beacon), you have to shoot out the red lights first while red dinos are attacking your rear. It's free aim, like BoT so it's a bit challenging to play on the phone at first. The dino scale makes for some pretty visuals and it feels satisfying to bring down a much larger dino with my tiny starter Reaver dino. The action is pretty fast and furious right now as people are just running around and shooting everything red, but i'm sure some tactics will eventually evolve. I'm starting to see more human players now as I'm actually losing some games and actually getting killed now. In terms of dino selection it's a bit like FFA in that you can select the same dino multiple times, as long as you have enough tokens.

Time I could be grinding for War Robots items and resources. I really don't play anything else on mobile and only get a few days a week to play War Robots. If I have free time but can't/don't want to play War Robots... I have the beginnings of a very amateur home recording studio I am trying to get together and learn, as well as a few console games I am trying to finish/enjoy. As far as mobile games... I am too invested in War Robots to start over on a similar game that doesn't even have mechs in it... I appreciate that they may have taken what they learned from War Robots and put it into Dino Fraud... but all that REALLY does is piss me off that I don't have good targeting and my spiders are still unable to climb as they used to, among many other issues. I can't give Pix anything beyond my War Robots time... not anymore.

**UNINSTALLED**
I don't get the sudden POV change. Why would I want to suddenly look DOWN FROM ABOVE and lose the view of the battle field? How does that benefit me tactically? This is the same POV shift nonsense they recently added to War Robots. And...
Targeting sucks. And...
Reticle sucks. And...
You have to wait xx seconds to go back into battle or use coins if you want to return with the same dino.
Looks like PIX has in Dino some of the same cutesy ... unnecessary... illogical... features that they recently added to War Robots.
I don't get why a developer would add bells and whistles to a project when they've not mastered or corrected the vital basics... like targeting. I was playing War Robots this morning, on target with a red that was well within range and right in front of me, hit the fire button and watched my missiles take a sharp right turn into a wall. WTELF was that about?! My point being, I see Dino heading in that same direction.
PIX should finish/fix one job (War Robots) before starting another.

They’re testing features on Walking War Robots. They don’t really care about this game anymore, they’re focusing on their newer (and more profitable) whale trap
